help with make-up pics? [27 Aug 2005|06:21am]

Eye shadow!  Today I did some cool stuff that you can hardly see in these pictures.  It makes it look like I was wearing some nasty white eye shadow and trust me I wasn’t.  So I will try to show you anyhow.  But in the meanwhile, does anyone have any tips on getting pictures of your make-up with the colors less flashed out?

All eye colors used were true colors and as a base I used the white max factor cover up stick.

Hello! [23 Jun 2005|09:01pm]

I have 7 stacks of true colors:

I'm not a complete make up expert, I'm not clueless either, but sometimes I have a hard time working with true colors. The colors are beautiful but how do you get them to stay and show up as beautiful and rich as they are in the stacks?

Hey, I got true colors a couple years ago from a little outdoor store at The Grove. Here is a photo of the ones I have.

I've never used True Colors - but after seeing this comm post, I looked the brand up on Makeup Alley and put in a bid on a couple of things on Ebay.

One of the comments on MUA was that the color was great, but prone to fading or changing. Is there a base you reccomend to keep this from happening? And also, what brand of brushes do you reccomend?

- Thanks!
