Out of curiosity, why is it an arctic vampire?
Wouldn't a vampire be very disadvantaged in a cold environment where circulation is slower and hemoglobin dissolves more quickly?
A vampire's body can't support hemoglobin levels necessary for survival, so they have to flush their system with fresh blood on a regular basis or they go into diabetic shock and die. A sub-zero environment would lay one flat in a couple of hours, it just wouldn't be good for them.
So why not say, I don't know, a Bermuda vampire. Bermuda is an ideal vampire environment, warm, dry, and windy. They could survive longer on less blood in Bermuda.
So that's all I really have to say, I seriously need to have less free time.
