Summary: Even the most simple things can push you forward.
Movie nights were usually common in the Super Junior household. Every Friday, if they were free, someone would get to pick out a movie for everyone to watch. There was popcorn, Pepsi, bowls of candy--anything that left them on a sugar high the rest of the night. But the movie finished faster than they thought, and they dispersed after their goodnights.
The credits started rolling soon, and a soothing song--something of a combination between classical and jazz--came on. On the floor seated in front of the couch, Ryeowook rotated his body to glimpse at the sleeping Yehsung, draped over the cushions. Everyone filed out, some boys ruffling Ryeowook's hair, and soon the younger was left alone with the slumbering boy.
Silently he sat them, his eyes going blurry as he watched the credits roll down the black screen. Excited whispers and laughs faded away as the other boys disappeared from earshot.
Ryeowook slowly turned once again. Temptation took over, and without much thought, he raked a few fingers down Yehsung's cheek. The fingers moved from his cheek to the ruby-tinted hair, and he ran a few fingers through the colored strands.
One of Yehsung's hands suddenly caught Ryeowook's, and the younger boy froze in fright. The song bore into their heads as Yehsung's eyes fluttered open, not tiredly at all. What frightened Ryeowook the most was that Yehsung probably hadn't even been asleep.
But then Yehsung pushed himself up onto an elbow, and he pressed his lips gently against Ryeowook's cheek. The action startled both of them, but what startled them even more was that Ryeowook was turning his head, and Yehsung was leaning over further, and their lips brushed. Suddenly overwhelmed when Yehsung let go of his hand to travel up his arm, Ryeowook whimpered into the soft kiss. The redhead pulled away and whispered "Shhh," before locking their lips together again.
Ryeowook's abandoned hand twitched and moved up to Yehsung's shoulder, just as Yehsung's own hand buried itself in Ryeowook's hair. The kiss took an abrupt turn, and soon both were desperately clinging, their mouths moving against each other just as desperately. A tear slid down Ryeowook's cheek, and almost immediately a thumb wiped it away. They broke apart, save for a few quick kisses, and pressed their foreheads together.
"Hi," Yehsung whispered breathily, smiling.
Letting his own smile grace his lips, Ryeowook blushed. "Hi," he whispered back, and tucked his face in the crook of Yehsung's neck, relaxing while he listened to the song come to an end. Gentle fingers slid through Ryeowook's hair, lulling him into a calm state.
The movie was long over, but the two just sat there in silence, just enjoying the other's presence.
And that was enough.
Don't you cry, don't you cry
Take my hand
Hold your breathe
The night is young"
