curious...but I was reminded of something that has been bugging me for a long time, and I want to put it to rest:
Why is the Cid/Vincent pairing popular?
I'm not asking because I think it's wrong or stupid- unlike certain people, I'm not into shipping wars and all that jazz. I'm just curious because I feel it's such an unlikely pairing. I remember somebody saying that it's because Vincent once tells Cid "let's go to bed" in the game (which I don't recall), and what started out as a cute joke might have turned into a popular fandom pairing. It's not just the west, there's a gazillion Japanese doujinshi with this pairing. So Cid/Vincent fans, what is it about them? ^__^
