The Shinra Experience: Turks Edition

'Turks' is the unofficial nickname of the Investigation Division of the General Affairs Department of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company. They perform covert operations on behalf of the company, including espionage, kidnappings and assassinations. They also scout for potential candidates for Shin-Ra's elite military unit, SOLDIER, and serve as bodyguards for the Shin-Ra executives. The 'Shinra Experience: Turks Edition', is a roleplaying guild/game where you get to specifically play a Turk in the scenarios/missions (which are updated on a weekly to bi-weekly basis) within the world that has been carefully crafted by Square-Enix and the administrators of this site.

A few sections of the site is stil in construction (such as the World and Shinra HQ sections--not to mention the forums themselves), however, we are already accepting profiles, so go inside and take a gander! :D

Sephiroth blinks! (Screenshot post)

In which I totally undermine all the serious work I do translating and putting together timelines by showing off what I find through frame-by-frame veiwing.

This all started because of a statement made in the Reunion Files. And I quote - "We made sure that Sephiroth would never blink, in order to give him this sort of supernatural, ghost-like quality." (Morizumi)

Well, you shouldn't make statements like that around people like me because I will fact-check it. And as it turns out....

Now, I also noticed one or two other things that I felt like sharing. These are perhaps even more inane than the blinking...

Well, I'm sure that was a rather futile excercise. *laughs*

New AC Action Figures

What? Two posts in one day?

But, trust me, this warrents a post.

First off here is the gallery full of lovely pictures.

Showcased at ComicCon was a collection of S-E figures by Kotobukiya (same company that did the Resin Statues and PlayArts figures) which include the giant $400 Sephrioth Vs. Cloud statue (Made by combining two $200 pieces) as well as Machine figures of the Highwind, Fenir, and the Trio's bikes. (There is also a new series of summon action figures and figures for FFXII and FFXIII)

However, the reason I'm posting is because of the brand new Sephiroth and Cloud AC action figures. (You can see them on pages 3 and 4) The two are beautifully crafted with real cloth outfits, stylized plastic hair, and of course, immaculate swords.

EDIT - AC.net has updated with info on the figures and more pictures. The figures are 17 inches tall each.... and rumored to cost $400 a piece. X_X; Damn you Square.....
