Queerios: A Radical Queer Coloring and Activity Book

This will be the kind of activity book I never got (but always wanted) in my early teens. I'd like to put together a coloring and activity book highlighting people who were groundbreaking to you, personally. Harvey Milk and Oscar Wilde will always have a place carved out for them. This is about exploring people who did more than admit their same-sex attraction to the rest of the world. How about what Leslie Feinberg and Kate Borenstein did for trans visability and challenging gender norms? Or how James baldwin and Audre Lorde made queer people challenge racism within the GLBT community. And, just so we're clear? You don't have to identify as queer/trans to have a hero who does.
Priority will be given to activities like dot-to-dots, paper dolls, and word searches, but coloring pages with biographies are great as well. The deadline for this is March 1st so I can have it put together by mid-to-late march, and out in the world by April. And of course, if you know someone who is interested, please feel free to pass this on to them, or repost widely.

Broken Stapler review column ((x-posted))

I am open to taking in some zines for review!  I'll be starting a zine review column for Subterfuge magazine (a new-ish women's online magazine) called Broken Stapler.  It's been a few years since I got any new zines and I'd love to review some new zines instead of ones I've had sitting in boxes for years and years.

I'm willing to trade you some stamps for zines or pass along a couple of bucks for some zines.

Please, please, please feel free to email me at wrecklesswords@gmail.com and let me know if you are interested in me reviewing your zine.  Let me know what kind of contact info you'd like me to include in the review or any special notes you'd like me to add.  I will let you know when I have written the review and when my editor has actually published the review online.  As of right now, I do not know when the magazine is going to be live online again as it's been down for a facelift for a while.   But if you are interested the web address is subterfugemag.org

Call For Submissions - Early July Books

Hey everyone!
I've been making zines since I was in the 8th grade, and distributing zines for almost 3 years now.
I used to operate my distro under other names including Hello Saturday, and This Saturday Night; this year I began attending college and I've moved to a larger space so I decided that I wanted to expand the distro. I decided to change the name to Early July Books.

I'm looking for zines of all kinds, including music, pesonal, resource, DIY, and anything else! I'd really would love to get more music zines in the distro though.

If you are interested you can email your zine to:

4535 S Lockwood Ridge Rd
Sarasota, FL 34231

If you'd like to submit an electronic copy you can email it to: earlyjulybooks@yahoo.com
*I can do consignment or wholesale, whichever is easiest for you!

2 zines

I've made two zines recently.

#1 is called a connect the dots game gone horribly wrong, and it's a series of collages about depression. An attempt to visualise feelings I haven't had the courage to put into words.

#2 is a mini zine called musical memories about songs that remind me of certain events in my life.

They're both available on my etsy for a stupidly low price. Trades are also welcome!
