After a few weeks of falling off the wagon, I kicked myself in the butt and tracked all last week. Had my weigh-in today and lost 2.2 lbs, bringing me back down to my goal weight. But the best part is...
I'm a LT member and I'm a little worried about my weigh in next week.
The past month has been filled with birthday parties, Easter, and tomorrow, our senior class trip to Universal. Other than that, last week I was experiencing PMS and kept wanting to eat food and chocolate. This past week I managed to get that under control, but now I'm not so sure about how, or if, I'll be able to get off the five pounds I know I gained. :/
Now for my questions... When I weigh in, and I am over my two pound range, I know I'll have to pay, but what happens after that? Do I keep weighing in every week until I'm within goal? After I get back to goal, will I have to go through maintenance again, or will it go back to weighing in once a month?
A HUGE victory happened for me last night! I didnt have to pay for my meeting! Im FINALLY back within my goal weight!
A little background for those of you who dont know how lifetime membership works...You set a goal weight. Once you reach that weight, you have to stay at it for 6 weeks. After that you become a lifetime member. You must attend a meeting once a month to get weighed and maintain your lifetime status. As long as you weigh in within 2 pounds of your goal weight, you dont have to pay for meetings. This helps keep you on track and I genuinely think it is an awesome motivator. Needless to say, it doesnt always work...
My background...I received lifetime membership the summer of '07, after losing 35 pounds. At my lowest, I was 125 pounds. I went to meetings once a month for a few months after I got lifetime, then I just got sick of it and stopped going.
By January of this year, I felt my pants getting tighter and decided to recommit. I weighed in at 139.8. This was 9.8 over my goal! So, I had to lose at least 7.8 pounds to get to 132 and be within two pounds of my goal weight.
Over the last three months, I dropped 8 pounds, and yesterday I weighed in at 131.8! Im so excited to be back within my goal weight. I seriously jumped up and screamed when I got weighed.
This was a HUGE milestone for me. Ive been struggling the last few weeks, and only lost 0.2 since the begining of this month. It was so frustrating...then yesterday...BAM! 2.4 pounds lost! It was like a miracle.
I just had to get on here and tell someone. Now, to keep it going and eventually get back to that 125 pound mark...
P.S. Sorry for all the explanation about lifetime status, but Im not sure how many people know exactly how that works. I didnt know anything about it until I came within 5 pounds of my goal, then my leader started explaining it to me.
How do you guys track? I mean, physically, how do you keep track of your daily food? Do you write it in the free weekly trackers they hand out at the WW meetings? Do you use a food journal? Track on-line with your LJ or on the WW website? Or do you use something else?
I ask because now that I've reached Lifetime (and have been a WW for over four years), I'm having a hard time keeping my motivation to track. I was wondering which method other people use in hopes of finding something that might inspire me. I'd especially like to hear from other Lifetimers or other long-time WWers, but any replies will be greatly appreciated!
Hello! I've been a member of WW since June 2005, reached lifetime in April 2006 and maintained that until September 2007. I haven't been to a meeting since then and have gained back about 40 of the 77lbs I lost.
Now for my question: Do I have to pay the registration fee when I go back? I know I have to pay the weekly fee since I'm over my goal weight.
