So, I just rejoined WW TODAY and I'm super excited! As soon as I got home, I started going through my materials and I decided to log into e-tools. However, I'm having issues. :(
They say my temporary unsername is on my temporary monthly pass. Right. Gottcha! They say my temporary password is on the first page of my pocket guide. Ummmm... no. Am I missing something? It is not on the front or back jacket, the first few inside pages, the last pages... nowhere! I can't find it in the weight record or the registration card.
Ummm... help. I feel like an idiot, but I'd love to get started and I can't log in! Is it there and I'm just missing it? Is it somewhere else in my materials?
I'm just a bit confused. Or I feel like the activity point I earned today is way too much. I'm in colorguard, and hopefully somebody is familiar with it. We did body movement, flag block, and weapon blocks today. It varied from low to high intensity throughout the 5 hours I was there.
According to eTools, 300 minutes of low activity earns me 13 activity points. Is that really possible? Another question, how do you exchange activity points for food in eTools.
Right! While I am jobhunting I'm working for my dad doing P.A.-type stuff. But it means that I don't have a regular schedule, and I've found that finding a meeting that I can attend on the same day and at the same time each week is basically impossible. I was thinking of doing the online WW, but wanted to ask what your experiences were of it. Did you find it easy to keep to? Was it a good idea doing it online? Basically, any opinions and experiences welcomed!
I use e-tools to track my points, and I have a question...
When I first started WW, 17 lbs ago, I was eating 34 points a day. I know that for every 10 lbs lost you go down a point, but e-tools has not shown this. I have lost 17 lbs and e-tools still has me as eating 34 points a day. What gives? I expected that once I got into the 260s I would go down to 33 points, and now I am very close to the 250s but I am still at 34 points per day. I haven't been losing (and have actually been gaining) lately despite being on plan - is this the reason why? Should I really be eating 33 or 32 points instead? This week I tried eating 33 points per day - weigh-in is tonight so I guess I'll see how that worked out for me.
ETA: Figured it out! I found a place on the website where I could adjust my points target. For future reference, though... does e-tools usually adjust points for you automatically or do you always have to go in and adjust it yourself?
I'm thinking of switching to the online program but wanted to ask your opinions including pros and cons. My biggest reason for switching is that I hate the meetings and never stay. What's the monetary difference?
Oh and I also find the site not user-friendly which is a con!
I made my 5% goal last night... Actually, I passed it by quite a bit! I had a great week overall, losing 3.6 lbs!
When I entered my new weight into the weight tracker on the website, it said that I am losing weight too quickly and that I should take measures to try and not lose so much so fast because it's unhealthy. Has anyone else gotten this message? I've been on WW for 9 weeks now and have lost an average of 1.9 lbs every week (17.4 lbs total)... I thought it was normal/expected to lose about 2 lbs per week? I thought I remembered reading that when I first started...
Another question... When did you first start seeing results? I figured that losing 17 and a half pounds would at least bring me somewhere close to being down a pants size, but I'm not even close. I'm fitting comfortably into size 20s right now and not even coming close to buttoning 18s.. but I was fitting comfortably into size 20s before I lost 17 pounds, too. What gives?
I have a question about etools. I looked through the tags and didn't see this answered, but point me in the correct direction if I'm wrong.
I've been on WW for over a year and just recently noticed that I can add my measurements in etools. I've been keeping track on a spreadsheet, but I'd like to add it to my weight tracker. I've gone through and added all the measurements from this year, but it won't let me reach any measurements before January 2009. Is it possible to add them for a year ago or have I waited too long? I don't need to add all of them, but I'd like to put in my starting measurements, so I have accurate changes every month.
Can anyone help me out?
Edit - I figured it out. When I clicked on the starting week, it didn't highlight green until I double clicked it. :D
Does anyone know why eTools lists V8 100% vegetable juice as 1 point or a half a point? I drink the 5.5 ounce cans, and the can has 30 calories, 0 fat and 1 fiber... which comes out to zero. But eTools says it's .5 points.
