This Community is in no way affiliated with, sponsored, or approved by United Synagogue Youth or the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

USY stands for United Synagogue Youth, the youth movement of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ). It is an International organization that is divided up into 17 regions to make one whole community that meets for International Convention each year in December. This year IC will be hosted by the NERUSY region in Boston. USY offers various summer programs in North America, Costa Rica, Europe, and Israel. There is also a 2 month high school program in Israel during the spring semester and a 9 month college leadership program for college freshmen.

If you are not in USY you may join the community and comment but please don't post.
Please, no region/chapter/youth group bashing.
Regarding USY Points: Don't make a new post asking what they are and who's worth what! Check the memories section, there are 2 posts there covering it.
Please refrain from posting on Shabbat or Yontif. We represent USY and the Conservative movement, albeit unofficially, and should uphold the standards.

Where are the USYers in this community from? (thanks p_birnbaum)
