Lyme disease is the most commonly diagnosed vector-borne disease in the United States, with over 99,000 cases reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 1982 to 1996. During that time, the incidence of reported cases increased by at least 32-fold (LYMErix, 1998).

It is also currently the fastest growing infectious disease in the world (Vanderhoof-Forschner, 1997): between 1991 and 2000, the incidence of Lyme Disease in the United States nearly doubled and the 17,730 cases reported for the year 2000 was higher than any other previous year (Schwan, 2003). Lyme disease even surpasses AIDS as one of our nation’s fastest growing epidemics (Lang, 1997).

has anyone in here had a seizures on welbutrin?

I know its a little weird to ask, but i was recently diagnosed with a brain cyst (pineal brain cyst to be exact) and i am seeing a neurologist, and when i had the seizures i went to the ER and they saw me there, and my neurologist came down and didn’t think its caused from the brain cyst, but i have been waking up many times during the night since and am feeling like i did after i had the seizures, im not sure if im having them in my sleep or not, my husband doesn’t wake up from them if i am having them, and im not having them while im awake.
my neurologist thinks that i had the seizures because im on my period, and because i haven’t been eating enough lately and she thinks im dehydrated (or was, even though i drank like 6 glasses of juice before i went to bed the night before)
Have any of you ever heard of a seizures happening around a woman’s cycle? i have googled a few things but found no real information.
My uncle was also last week diagnosed with brain cancer, he had a tumor removed from his left ear. So im a little worried about this cyst being more then it is thought to be (i have had many cysts in my body removed, from my ovary it was the size of a lemon, from my intestinal tract it was about the size of a peach,) and will be seeing a neurosurgeon.
any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I'm Genie. I've got Lyme Disease and I'm pretty sure I got it in-vitro. I'm reaching out all over live journal trying to find people who are treating their diseases/illnesses with alternative medicine. Since I am unable to afford medical treatment or medical insurance I sort of HAD to treat this naturally. Anyway, I'm not here to whine about money--I'm here to swap thoughts! And to offer my sympathy and support. My Mom died in 2001 because she never recovered from her bone marrow transplant which she got to treat Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I can't help but wonder if she got CLL because of her low immune function--I believe she had undiagnosed Lyme Disease. Mom was 48. I was right there with her until the very end and I know what it's like to have a Mom who is sick. I hope more people post here, but if not, well......two is enough for a conversation!

The first to post.

Hi! I created this community. So I guess I should be the first one to post.

My name is James. I am 19 years old and I live in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I am a high school graduate. I plan on moving to California at the end of the summer.

I started this community to share my experience of growing up with someone who has HIV. That person is my mother. Although at this I rather not go into the details of how my mother got HIV she got it around the time I was born. No I do not have HIV. I found out my mom has HIV when I was 9 years old. So it has been 10 years since that day. The whole sisuation has been really hard on me and my dad. I get really paranoid sometimes that some day she will get AIDS. So the fear is always there.

As for me, the only injuries I have claimed. Is a dislocation in my right leg that I had have for quite some time now. I have also dealt with some other injuries this year, I have had to have my foot cut open to remove an injection I had that could have giving me blood poisioning.

Over the pass couple of months I have dealt with on going migraines that don't seem to be going away.
