I am going to Baylor next year, but I am thinking about joining the Marines after I have been going to Baylor. Well, not just thinking about it, but I really want to do it. What could be more awesome than fighting for your country? The best country in this world? With the best leader? Nothing is more amazing than the honor of doing that. How prestigious. How patriotic. How Republican :)

Hey [08 Apr 2005|10:24pm]

Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie. I am from New York (where there is a lack of Republicans, and an even smaller number of teen republicans.)
I attempted to start a Republican club at my high school, however I could not find a faculty advisor :(
Thats ok, I just made my political status known through my stance on many debate topics, and across my red backpack, which says "Republican" in big black lettering. I love politics :)
I am going to Baylor University in Texas this fall '05 as a freshman! Bush lives 14 miles from the university. I cant wait to go!
Thats pretty much it that I can think of right now.
I am glad to be a part of this community!

Hi! [31 Mar 2005|11:50am]

[ mood | okay ]

Hey everybody my name is Debbie. I'm going to be 17 in less than 2 weeks, and I live in Pennsylvania.

I'm really not too sure what to put in my introduction...but yeah. I got into politics in 7th grade when I had to follow the election. I love George W. like my parents loved Ronald Reagan. I admire his leadership qualities and his speech after 9/11 really touched my heart.

Although I can't vote I try to be as involved as possible in politics. My school has what we called an "Election Club" which fortunately for us turned out to be more of a "Young Republicans" club. The only Democrat was the teacher running it! It was a lot of fun and we still meet now and then for the hell of it.

So thats about it. I guess I'll see you guys around the community. Rock on ;D

Hey I was wondering if any of you would like to add my journal.

I'm dying for some bush supporters as friends lol.

Sometimes i tend to go overboard with my opinions on my journal and i get bombarded with things like "OMG YOU SPPORT BUSH?!?!!?! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?" *sigh* Of course these are your typical liberal teenagers.

[ mood | happy ]

Hey, y'all, I'm new here so I figured I'd make an intro :) I'm 6 months from my 18th birthday, so unfortunately I didn't get to vote for Bush this time around.

I found this community after the other teen republican one I was in decided to go dead on me. Hopefully that won't happen here; I am very much in need of a Bush supporter community!

I hail from Minnesota, a state that's voted blue for as long as anyone can remember. We were the only state that voted for Mondale in whatever year that was, so I'm very much used to being surrounded by people who think I'm "misled" for being a Bush supporter.

SO... whenever I feel overwhelmed by the amount of liberalism in my life, be prepared to read political cartoons or rants from me! And there is quite a bit of liberalism, I might add. Nearly all of my friends hate Bush, including my own boyfriend who actually started a Democrat club at our school. Yes, this sucks majorly, but I love him anyways.

I will stop blabbing now, but feel free to add me either to LJ or your buddy list, if you're in need of an Elephant Friend :)

Hi, I'm new! My name is Quynn, I'm from Michigan, and I am a hardcore Republican and Bush supporter. Although I can't vote *yet*, I try to get as involved in politics as much as possible, wether it be listening to conservative talk radio or wearing my GWB inaguration pins around, I am proud to be a Republican! Please add me! I love making new friends!

God Bless America!

OT: banning [08 Mar 2005|06:37pm]

I would just like to say that you didn't need to ban humanchalice. She didn't mean to insult anyone, it was all just a misunderstanding.

I was wondering if you could unban her?

George is my favorite President! In my Leadership class, we make scrapbooks, and one of the pages is a "people I admire" page. On it, I had Gov. Arnold Schwarzennegar (spelling?) and Pres. Bush. My art teacher was looking at it and started lecturing me . . . I just listened and rolled my eyes. This lady also before the election told a kid right in front of me that she didn't like Bush because she "has a brain". Well, I like Bush because I have a brain that WORKS.

Just saw this story on TV [01 Mar 2005|11:24pm]
[ mood | amused ]

Every night at 11:00, 'The 700' comes on TV, but I never watch it. Tonight, though, the first story caught my eye and I sat through it, thrilled that it was getting coverage. Of course, it would have been much better if it weren't put out by the Christian Broadcasting Network, but I still really enjoyed it.

Here's a text readout of the news story:
The New Radicals: How Liberal Campuses Harass Conservatives

Enjoy :)

I'm trying to start a Young Republicans club at my high school. People seem excited for it . . . But what should we do, and I don't know how to get an advisor . . .
