I'm starting to wonder if maybe it has something to do with women who have been traumatized. Not as a cause but, okay you know how people say stress can cause symptoms or make you ill and bring on diseases? I wonder if PCOS could fit into that as well. It's never been proven but it's a thought. What are your thoughts on this?
I recently joined a PCOS forum which I advise anyone with PCOS to join, it's a wonderful resource and there are so many people there who understand and can offer help:
There really isn't a heck of a lot of resources out there, but I did find some valuable information for anyone who is interested in reading about PCOS.
It lists all of the symptoms and suggests a doctor's visit to determine whether or not you have PCOS. So far with my doctor's help and the help of the online community which I am still a day new to, I feel understood, I feel I am on the right track and I feel I have a fighting chance against this disease. Best way I can describe PCOS would be "Draining". If anyone has it they know exactly what I am talking about. I have had to change my life completely around as far as diet and health to even begin to feel normal again and still I am just beginning so I know it's a long journey but it's a hopeful one.
