In nature, there is no such thing as time, it was manufactured by man.

If have decided to instate instantaneous membership. That is, no longer will membership have to be requested. It will remain this way, so long as there are no problems associated with this policy. I hope that no one was deterred from joining based on the old policies, and I hope that you will consider joining the Phrontistery. To join click here.

I have recently altered the format of the Phrontistery. No longer will we require an application with a membership request. However, in order to become a member we will still require a request. This will help in managing the community. I hope that this will not cause any inconvenience or deter anyone from joining. I check to see if there are members pending frequently, so it should not be long before I view the request.

Upon receiving a request, I will visit the journal of the pending member, and then make a decision as to whether or not the pending member may join. In all probability, if one requests entry, I will allow them to enter. There is very little that I can think of that could be considered grounds for exclusion.

Thank you,
Dr. Heisenburg

Welcome to the Phrontistery. This being the first entry, I would like to give a brief description of myself. Dr. Heisenburg, but you may call me Franz. I am a senior in high school, and I am currently planning to study chemical engineering. Apart from my numerous academic interests, I participate in the band as a French Horn player. In my spare time, I have been trying to teach myself to play the bagpipes. I listen primarily to classical music, instrumental soundtracks, and some opera.

I encourage you to join the Phrontistery. Topics discussed here may include anything. There is no defined subject material. Discuss topics ranging from the latest scientific debates, heck, debate old ones if you like, to every day events and questions. I encourage you, no matter what you age, gender, etc. may be.

I am looking forward to hearing from you,
Franz
