Hello!

So, a couple of years ago, there was a big community dedicated to awarding prizes to the best of the best in Pirates of the Caribbean. Two years ago, it went on hiatus. This group was called potc_votes , and it is coming back!

With the release of the new movie and all the wonderful fanstuff that has come out, florencia7  and I decided to bring the comm back! Hopefully by Saturday we will have the first contest up an running.

The first contest will be a huge nominating/voting for the best fanfic around. All pairings, characters, kinks and loves will be accepted, as long as it fits into a category. When I post the nominations post, I will go further into how to nominate people.  This will be a summer long event, with many rounds.

At the end of the summer, the winners will be posted, and awards will be given out. But that won't be all! Keep a look out for drabble contests, video contests, secret santa and more!

Anyway. I've attempted my very first fanfiction for this fandom, and it can be found here on FFN.

It's an alternative ending, of sorts, to the Locker scene with Governor Swann in AWE, which hit me between the eyes on re-watching for the first time since the cinema release, thanks to my memory failing. ;) More info available in the fic itself.
