Make Money & HAVE FUN!
Hello to all,

I just wanted to send a quick note out to offer some extra income to anyone feeling the economic crunch...

I have been selling Avon for over 10 years, and absolutely love the company & their products. Avon can be part time $$ or full time $$ for anyone.

I mentor new representatives and assist them in getting their new business off the ground, and understand how to navigate the website & place your orders/manage your customers, etc. I also carry a blackberry so that I am easily accessible for questions and assistance.

If you would like to make some extra money, let me know!

Avon is offering a wonderful promotion right now for new representatives (to the tune of $160 in FREE products!) which is amazing when you compare the $20 it costs to become a rep!

* Avon products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed
* Avon products are more affordable than drug store & department store products
* Avon sells itself - you just give out the books

- there is no cancellation fee or penalty fee for not placing an order or if you decide selling Avon isn't for you. No catch :)

Reply to this message, or send me an email to mmastracci@gmail.com if you would like to ask some questions or talk more about this opportunity with me.

How does $$ in your pocket in two weeks sound? *that's how often we get our deliveries now.

Anyone (women) interested in earning some extra $$?
Full or part-time. From home. As little or as much work as you want to put into it.

If you're a student, a mom, unemployed, already working full or part-time, you can still make money! :)

I've been doing it for more than 10 years now, and LOVE it.

E-mail me at: mmastracci@gmail.com I live in York Region and can get you started right away. You'll have $ in your pocket in less than 2 weeks!

No scams. That's my real name up there, so I am not a con-artist looking to take advantage of anyone! LOL

I'm simply looking to help my fellow woman out!

Anyone knows what happened with Purple Pig (next to Aurora GO station)?

We went there few days ago it was closed and some strange sign on the door saying "Due to circumstances beyond our control ..."

On a very serious note...
I'm going to cross post this to everywhere I see fit, as well as e-mail it to some people I think may be able to help further the effort...

Please go to http://vienneau.livejournal.com/

This is a fellow Toronto LJ'er, who's sister has gone missing while back packing in Syria.

My sister is presently back packing in Europe, and I don't know what I'd do if something were to happen to her.

Please, add him, support him, promote his efforts, and do whatever you can.  If you know people with radio & television contacts, newspapers (local or otherwise), let's please do what we can?

Share his story with your friends list.

Love to you all, and especially to Matt & his sister.

Love, light & miracles to you vienneau.

I'll probably get shot for this but...
Heres a repost of something I wrote in my personal LJ that I feel affects every resident of Newmarket:

when I was walking home tonight, just a few steps away from my house, I hear a car slow behinde me and someone yell "hey buddy." Oh look its the most excellent and professional york regional poliece. He asked me where I was going and I said my house right there. Than he asked some other stupid question and I was like look I'll give you my name, adress, and DOB, other than that you are not entiled to interrogate me and I want to sleep goodnight. Than he asked if I was evading him because I turned a corner when I was coming on to my street and he could not see me until he also turned that corner! omg! So at that point I told him I thought he was being totally unprofessional. To which he responded something like "listen you little fucking punk, people have broken into cars on this street, I call this good fucking poliece work!" I should have got his badge number and name but aparently he ran my name though thier system for being rude so they should have a reccord:) I will complain to his superiors tomorow.

*And now some new stuff*

The York Region Poliece are like the dropouts that could not make the RCMP/OPP or even metro poliece forces. Many municipalities surrounding York Region have elected to eliminate thier inefficient (and often corrupt) poliece forces in preferance to letting the OPP be thier street cops. I think this would be good for newmarket because the OPP has higher standards for thier officers. I can assure you even if you are commiting a crime, like speeding, they will still address you as "sir." Most importatnly though, I think they have read The Canadain Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I am almost tempted to start a petiton for this but I am starting school soon and won't even be in York Region much:P So your fate is in your own hands, but if someone does this I will deffintly sign!!!

wear a freaking helmet kids
Ok from now on I am always wearing a helmet when I bike ride. My mind is far to valuble an asset to society to end up smashed on a rock. I guess what inspired this was fixing my bike up and taking it for a spin. I admit I didn't even wear a helmet (cause I was only riding slow in fear my bike might fall apart uneath me.)

Anyways while I was on the trails I saw like all these kids hanging out at a prety vicious jump and NOT ONE was wearing a helmet. This trail includes all kinds of intense parts just getting to the jump to. I so would have said something to them, but I wasn't wearing a helmet myself so who was I to talk:P

Also they were alot younger than me. Asking them to wear helmets might only encourage them not to. What I really should have done is been wearing my own helmet and than hit that jump a few times and call them idiots on my way by for being helmetless.

I guess the moral of the story is this: always wear a helmet. Even if you don't actually need it, just to encourage other people to do so.

Hey all,

I'm new to Newmarket. My family and I moved here three weeks ago. I must admit, I wasn't too thrilled about moving this far away from my childhood home (I used to live in Scarborough) but since being here, I've changed my mind.

I love it here. It's quiet, you know your neighbours and the town is both historic and new.

The only part I'm disliking is my commute to work. I work at Dufferin and King and it's a pain in the butt! I take the Go Train at 7:47am to get to Union at 8:45 only to miss my 8:43 connection out to Exhibition, which is only 3 blocks from work. Instead, when I get to Union I have to walk up to King and take the streetcar the rest of the way...

Is there an easier way to get where I want to go without breaking the bank and nearly taking me 2 hours to my job?

be my friend:P
lolz I have no friends, so I repost this from my LJ in hopes I'll find someone in this area that is a WINDSURFer.

anyone do it? Want to go this week(end?), or just got a board/sail I can borrow? I don't think I know anyone who does this sport but maybe I just don't know that you do. I was at sunset beach earlier today and I saw all these people windsurfing, and it looked sooooo fun. I am sure I can rent one if noone has one one. So someone email me or jsut msg me on here and its surfs up! Yes, do it even if you don't have one, I'd prefer to split on a rental.

"Treasure Chest" coupon booklet
Hehe, this is is my first post! In a community. Ever. XD

We bought a coupon booklet a little while ago that has just about every store in Newmarket I could possibly imagine. It was called "Treasure Chest Newmarket Certificates", it's done in cooperation with B101fm, and benefits Big Brothers/Big Sisters of York.

It was something like $60, but it has a huge amount of stuff. I got around to looking up the coupons and there is actually a lot of free stuff for haircut places, salons, auto shops, car washes, cosmetics, movie rentals, arcades, a lot of hockey admission tickets, stuff like that.

There's also pretty big food section too with a lot of pretty decent restaurants, but it is ALL "buy one get one free", unlike the rest of the book that is actually just a lot of free stuff.

The catch is it has to be used before October 1 2006 O.o.

In either case, it looks pretty decent. They gave a number 866 839 0921 if you wanna get a book.
