Article - Food for Thought.

This article from the New York Times on Sunday discussed an up-and-coming trend in which parents are co-purchasing and co-owning their 20- and 30-something children's homes.  In particular, the article (which may be read here) notes that parents are imposing certain terms and conditions on the household, right down to selection of appliances, furniture, and housemates.

I wonder what this does for young married couples.

Can you imagine?  Anyone else dealt with something like this?  Has it been really restrictive?  A good launching point?  Are homes just too expensive for the average twentysomething couple to afford?
