February 27th, 2006

On Monday 13 March 2006, Manchester City Council is launching the Green City Network at the City of Manchester Stadium.

The Green City Network will provide Manchester with an information and advice network of environmental intelligence. The Network can help you make better use of existing resources, find out how others are implementing changes or perhaps help you offer your own environmental services.

The one-day launch event will include a number of workshops that will inform and be informed by delegates and speakers alike. This is your chance to let the Council and the region's environmental support networks know:
  • How you can help Manchester become Britain's Greenest City

  • What support YOU need to help you identify and achieve your environmental goals.
Workshops will include internationally renowned speakers on:
  • Climate Change and renewable energy

  • Sustainable Enterprise

  • Sustainable Communities

  • Defining the Green City Network
If you would like more information about the conference or would like to attend please visit http://www.manchestergreencity.co.uk or call Sue Chung on 0161 234 4506. Delegate space is running out fast so reserve your place soon.
