This has been going around on several sites:

X-MEN star JAMES MARSDEN has offered his peers the secrets to Hollywood marriage success - get close to someone who knows you better than you do and hope for a lot of luck.
The actor married actress Lisa Linde in 2000 and admits he is still very much in love with his wife, despite the ups and downs of their union.
He says, "You're with someone who knows you better than yourself - and they still want you to stick around! And you help each other out, you confide in each other and it's very comforting. It's about being in love. Not everybody has that.
"I happened to get very lucky with my girl. I got a good one. She thinks I'm great and I think the same about her. The best relationships are where you make a choice to make it work. You definitely have ups and downs - it's part of every relationship - but getting through that shows how strong you are together."
He adds, "(Marriage is) just wanting to spend every moment with that person. And you don't feel happy or whole if you're not with them."

one source.

Aw. I'm getting a case of the warm and fuzzies.

I don't like paps following people around but...

Here's a video from yesterday of James Marsden smiling and chatting with a POPTV.com guy while he walks home from a club.

JAMES MARSDEN - The “X-Men” and “Superman Returns” star was all smiles and friendly. I asked him about his night and he kidded that he didn’t know it was a club that he was at, but that it’s fun to get out. I asked him where the beautiful ladies were. He was with guys and laughed that there were no girls, just guys tonight. He posed and I told him to smile some more as the girls love looking at him. Check out James in three movies he has coming out…“Nailed,” “The Box” and “Conan: Red Nails.”

James Marsden participates in The Elephant Project for charity

The Elephant Project is an organization to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association, which I started after my grandfather passed away from Alzheimer's disease. There is a phrase that says "elephants never forget," and in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, we are striving for those affected by the disease to "never forget." I have worked hard to get well-known celebrities to pose with an elephant beanie baby and sign a special Elephant Project card, which are then auctioned off to raise money to fight Alzheimer's disease. Each auction package comes with an 8x10 picture of the celebrity and the elephant, a signed card from that celebrity, and an elephant beanie baby. Such celebrities as Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Julie Andrews, and MANY more have participated in the project. Currently, over $11,500 has been raised for Alzheimer's care, research and support!

James participated in the Elephant Project and his auction is currently on eBay, ending Sunday, 8/3! Go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190239940854&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=009 to bid.

I remember someone posting here saying that James Marsden was InStyle Magazine's "Man of Style" a little while ago. Well, I was sitting here thinking that I wished I got that magazine and then I went looking for any scans. I found 2 pictures, in case you guys haven't seen 'em.

I also found a cute quote that he said to InStyle: "I ALWAYS feel like an 8-year-old when I dress up in a suit, like, when can I take this thing off?"
