PLEASE NOTE: Forever Fantasy is NOT a General 'you can join if you feel like it' community for Final Fantasy Fans. This is a Role-Playing game, and this particular community is used for character posts. You are more than welcome to FRIEND the communities and watch the game, but you will not be approved membership to the community unless you are actively seeking out Role-playing here, and have sent us an Application for thus. +Seymour, after much angsting on the Farplane devised a plot to try and destroy the Farplane and Spira with it, by ripping a sort of.. 'hole' in the fabric of the spirit world. He successfully pulls this off, however it doesn't have the effect he expects. It draws the parallel worlds to Spira (Gaia, FF8, FF7, et cetra. You know.) into Spira, forming new landmasses, or castles and towns shooting up where previously there were none. In addition, some of the old machina cities have reemerged, Zanarkand one of them.

The cities and the living people of other worlds aren't the only things to have appeared in this 'merger' people who were thought long dead have found their way back to the mortal realm, not as wandering unsent or fiends, but corpereal forms. Some weaker souls became fiends, or pyreflies once again. As it stands, the Farplane is 'leaking.'

+The Rules of Death no longer apply in this warped new Spira, with the Farplane ripped open, although there is an unpleasantry awaiting those who die while the rift is open in the Farplane. They must endure a battle literally through Hell (For all of you FF veterans, this will strike a familar chord.), and only then are they allowed to return to the land of the living. The Farplane has since been sealed by the Fayth, restoring order to the world, as far as the rules of death go.

+Not every villian is out to destroy the world. Some just want total Domination.

+The people of Spira struggle to live on, despite the wars and chaos falling down around them, loved ones returning from the dead. Children are still born, love is still forged in the chaos. They are only human, after all.

+The Fayth have now returned as they were before they sacrificed themselves to Yu Yevon's cause. They're disoriented and confused at their inability to transform into their more powerful selves, although they still retain a fraction of their powers.

Rules

+ Be courteous. Flames are not your friend. If you have a problem with a member, take it up with the modly beings. They're here to help.

+ Three Strikes and you're Out. If you do something rude that the mods think are out of line, you will be spoken with. This will be one strike. If you continue to make an ass of yourself, by the third strike, you will be dismissed from the game.

+ Don't be a wanker. If more than three different people think you're causing wank and the mods hear about it? Chances are good you're a wanker. None of us like to be wrong, but comprimise is part of working in real life. And while this is a game, no one giving in on any side causes wank, and it's completely unacceptable.

+ The Mods are your friends. We just want you happy and comfortable. Feel free to come to us about anything. Even if it isn't game related. We love to talk to our friends. And we're all here because we're friends.

+ No killing off characters without full modly consent. If you want to kill off one of your OWN characters, talk to both Yuzu and Varis BEFORE doing it. Also make sure that everyone who would be effected by it is alright with the consequences. In character actions have in character consequences, and just willy-nilly killing people off without letting anyone know isn't even a little bit cool.

+ Stay IC. We all know the characters. We all love the characters. So, keep their personalities believable. You won't see Garnet running off to explode the world, and you won't see Sephiroth getting along with someone like Tidus. Although, we won't object to a good romp through the flowers. Even bad guys need a release. *Snorfle* Kidding. Really.

+ Community is Slash/Het friendly. Relationships are encouraged, but yet again, stay true to the character. No matter how much you may want a character to be gay, without a plausable reason, it isn't going to happen. THINK before you type.

+ Grammar is appreciated. We're aware that English is not everyone's first language, but this *IS* an RP written in English, so spell checking is something that all should do, and if you're having issues with some words, don't hesitate to ask someone who's first language is English.

+Please write 'Final Fantasy is Awesome' somewhere in your Email title so that we know you have read the rules. your application could be ignored and deleted if you don't comply.

+ Players are expected to update journals as they would update their OOC journals. If more than a month goes by and there is no word from players, the mods will have to inquire to see whats up, although we may do it sooner, because we're impatient like that.

+ When you apply, do not make your character's journal. You are not guaranteed a spot in the RP by sending in an application. Once you have been approved, you will be given further instruction as far as character journals go.

+ When posting logs, place them behind a LiveJournal cut tag. If there is questionable content, please clearly mark logs with ratings if they are above PG in nature, if they're NC-17 make sure this is stated Both in the subject line and the body text itself.

+ Please post all Character entries in the _foreverfantasy community, as well as in your own character journal. All replies to entries are to be to the _foreverfantasy post, not your own character's journal.

+Make sure to add all characters to your lists. The Easy-Add Friend console can be found under the memories of the OOC community.

+If you're unsure of something, post to the OOC community, or check there. Chances are you'll find what you're looking for there.

+ Have fun. Because we're all here to have fun.


Application

Please, if you wish to join, fill out the following form, and email it to foreverfantasyrpg[at]yahoo.com The mods will review it, and get back to you as soon as they are able, letting you know if you have been accepted, or rejected. They will always provide a valid reason for why you were rejected if it so happens that you are.

Name: This is your name. What you wish to be called by, be it your actual name or an internet alias. It doesn't matter, so long as we aren't calling you 'hey, you!'
Age: Please state your age. In general, we will not be accepting applicants under sixteen. If you are an exemplary case, we will consider it, but you best have a damn good writing sample if you want to be considered. We will not, however, accept anyone under thirteen, no matter how good your grammar. Due to possible themes that may appear, the mods will not be held responsible, should your parents object to the material. If you lie about your age, fine. The mods wash their hands of you, and this is laid down for all to see, so there has been fair warning. Besides, Livejournal rules state that no one under thirteen can have a journal. Those rules in place, you're breaking a lot of people's codes. And it makes you a liar.
RP Experience: Newbies will be accepted, on the grounds that they have good writing and grammar skills. We do, however, prefer someone who's got some experience, as they tend to have a better grasp on writing skills. It can vary from person to person, however.
Email: Your Email. So we can contact you.
AIM: All third-person RP will be done through AIM. If you wish to create a name for your character, please by all means do so. The latest version of AIM allows for multiple screen names to be running, and programs like Trillian can run multiple different chat programs. You will also need it to participate in the Crack Chat.

Player Journal: Your OOC personal journal. The one that won't have all the RPAGE in it.
Character Name: Please check above. If the character you want is listed, they are not available, with the exception of anyone who is marked as an NPC. Occasionally the mods will fall behind with updates, and there will be characters claimed that haven't been added to the list. Please don't get discouraged if this happens. Apply for another character.
Third person narrative: Provide a writing sample, of two or three paragraphs, of your character doing something. If you can't think of anything, choose simple tasks like watching the stars, reading, writing, or walking to the store. Imagination is good.
First person journal post: Part of the RP will be taking place through the journals. We'd like to see that you grasp how journals work. Now, since these are like special PAPER journals, please avoid emoticons, or *movements*.
Brief History: PLEASE Apply for a character you know. Meaning from beginning to end of the game you have either carefully researched them, or have actually played through. Just give us proof you know this character. Note: this does NOT mean give us a history of your experiance with the game. it is the CHARACTER's history. We really don't care that you've beaten FF7 eighty times. Really. Stop telling us that.

Currently, Original Characters are not not being accepted. There are more than enough Non-Player characters in the games for you to find one underdeveloped, if you REALLY want to play such a character.
