What if this is "as good as it gets"?

Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me....aren't you?

The films we wish we could star in....

Welcome to my community, a tribute to any and every film of the 1960s and 1970s, plus several others that are classic releases or nearby, chronologically. By joining this community, you are entering my world of cinematic obsession, and you will commit yourself to posting about some of your favorite, vintage, box office hits, the little retro-indie classics that few know about, and any other films that you think are worthy of discussion in this community.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

There are no strict, hardcore rules that will appall many of you. Just the basic rules must be applied. And they are:

1. Keep the foul language to a minimum.
(Not too minimum, I'm just as foul-mouthed @_@;)
2. No instigating problems among another member or causing conflicts, leading to verbal abuse and journal flaming, via comments and hate remarks.
3. No discrimination WHATSOEVER, unless you are in context, quoting a major motion picture, or perhaps citing a scene from a movie with a purpose. BE FOREWARNED!
4. If you think something you'll be posting will be controversial, then e-mail me first.

....and that's about it for now, =D.

Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid

Oh, and more important detail....
The aforementioned application ballot should be filled-out promptly to show your commitment to the community. Now, don't misconstrue my intentions....I simply want to know what you like and more about you before you begin posting or commenting. It's a good way to meet other people and perhaps to befriend me or another member. I don't plan on kicking-out people at all. Just try not to be offended if someone is opposed to your taste in films. Though in a community like this, I highly doubt there will be much tense opposition. If there is, allow me to handle it, okay? Thanks.

Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore

There will be random trivia questions asked, approximately 3-4 times a week. 2 times a week, I will post quotes for you all, and you have to try and figure out what character from what movie said that particular quote.

I'm so excited to get this community off the ground. I know it'll take a while, but we'll get there....somehow, someway....

Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?
