Ewan defies caricaturization

Interesting, this.

THE team of Scottish cartoonists who set out to produce caricatures of top Scots met a major hurdle in the face of Ewan McGregor. Capturing in a few lines and strokes the face of the actor who has played roles as varied Renton in Trainspotting to Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels proved an almost impossible task. It took 45 attempts before artist Derek Gray reached a satisfactory caricature.

A load of baseballs

Taken from http://news.scotsman.com/uk.cfm?id=2428442005, but seen lots of other places.

Despite such high-profile wearers as Madonna, Zara Phillips, David Beckham and Ewan McGregor, easyInternetCafe has banned customers from wearing baseballs caps in a pilot scheme at branches in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I'm assuming they mean 'baseball caps', not 'baseballs caps'. Or it's just a load of baseballs. And the rest of this just cracked me up. Deviant behaviour?

Ok, so maybe I'm misreading. But since when has Ewan been a 'high profile wearer of baseball caps'? I wanna see photographic proof, people! Comment with evidence, please!

Hey guys!

Last night was my high school's homecoming dance, and our theme was "Opening Night, as in movie premiers and such. So on the inside, there were a bunch of posters from various movies that came out this year.

And there was a Robot's poster. ^__^

So after the dance was over, one of my best friend's mom *who was the 'head-honcho' of the dance* said I could take whatever poster*s* i wanted.

So I took the Robot's poster.

Would anyone else have done the same, although it only has a picture of Rodney and Ewan's name in small letters at the top?

Hehe. ^__^ It's hanging above my bed now.
... so HOTT

For Anyone Who's Seen Trainspotting

This may be slightly off-topic, but I felt the need to get my fangirling out. Sometime back in June, I drew a building from my heritage (I'm Scottish) as part of my grade nine exams. After watching Trainspotting again (it had been a long while), I realized that one of the buildings the group was running away from, was the building I drew. I never realized that The Royal Scottish Academy was so important, it was just nice structurally to draw. But to make this perfectly relevant I'll also post one of my favourite images as I'm new to posting here.

Little boys at heart.

I read this in my Premier magazine and thought it was kind of funny...

Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are Motormouths
During filming of Revenge of the Sith, whenever the two actors began sparring with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker lightsabers, they unconsciously would begin making whooshing noises-like they were kids battling with toy lightsabers.  George Lucas instructed them to stop moving their lips.  Whooshing sounds, he noted, could be added in postproduction.
