I was just wondering, if I was to start a community Carnivale icontest or something, would anybody else be interested in joining? I would love to do it, but if we can't get some other people interested than what's the point. Anybody else interested in it?

CARNIVALE STARS IN CHICAGO!!!!!

"CARNIVALE" stars come to Chicago!

Flashback Weekend Horror Convention and Drive-In will be hosting a “CARNIVALE” Fan Event July 29-31, 2005 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare, 5554 N. River Road, Rosemont Illinois.

We will be presenting a "CARNIVALE" cast reunion which will feature Adrienne Barbeau (“Ruthie”), Tim DeKay ("Jonesy"), Bill Moseley ("Posseum"), and we are working on adding an additional “CARNIVALE” cast member. The weekend will include autograph sessions, Q& A and panel discussions, and the opportunity to meet and mingle with other “CARNIVALE” fans.

Fans of "CARNIVALE" will certainly agree that the second season was the best yet! As fans of “CARNIVALE” ourselves, we are still holding out hope that “CARNIVALE” will be picked up for a third season by another outlet. Major press will be covering the convention, so this is a chance to show just what kind of a fan base “CARNIVALE” has! Flashback Weekend will provide convention space to fans who wish to hold a “SAVE CARNIVALE” rally.

The three day long convention will also feature celebrity guests including Bruce Campbell and an “EVIL DEAD” cast reunion, a HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES” cast reunion featuring Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and additional “HOUSE” guests, a cast reunion for the original John Carpenter’s THE FOG, and many other guests.

Flashback Weekend is Chicago’s most complete Horror/Movie Memorabilia convention by day featuring celebrity guests, a huge dealer’s room, special events, a costume contest, …and

A nostalgic outdoor recreation of the Drive-in at night featuring not only 35mm screenings of classic and premiere showings of horror films, but timeless, vintage trailers, live celebrity introductions and a fantastic concession stand!

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for providing myself and the other "Carnivale" fans two seasons of extremely high quality television. I have to question your motives though: why cancel an Emmy nominated, highly acclaimed television series? I do understand that ratings are important to you, but HBO is paid for by the fans, not by advertisers. In eliminating "Carnivale" you are alienating a large portion of HBO subscribers; fans that are now canceling their HBO subscriptions, all because "Carnivale" is no more. I ask you to reconsider, I am very disappointed and am considering canceling my HBO service.

Sincerely,
Ani; Boom baby

<3 Tim Dekay<3

Ok. This is where I call in favors you guys don't even owe me. I've noticed a significant lack of Tim Dekay sites. One unofficial one and that's about it. So my friend April and I have decided to start an unofficial (at least until I get the word) Tim Dekay site. If any of you have any fanart, fanfiction, pictures, icons....anything about Tim Dekay that you would like to see on the site please e-mail it to me at NFGurl@hotmail.com Put "Tim Dekay" in the subject line, and be sure to include who you would like me to credit. Thanks!
