Great news - though I may be late!
When I went to Warped Tour a few week ago, I went over to the Dropkick Murphy's tent and they were telling me about the new GIVE 'EM THE BOOT DVD from Hellcat that is going to be released next week. I've been waiting for something on the Hellcat bands and it's finally here. Joe Strummer and Iggy Pop are on it...plus every Hellcat band to date. By far this will be one of the best music DVD release all year!

Does anyone know where to find Zombina CDs? I know they exist, I just can't find where to get them.

Also, lyrics? I've only got the ones to Meteorite and Nobody Likes You When You're Dead.

Thank you! <3

Zombina and her Skeletones are playing Killing Fantasy in Manchester on Thursday! It's going to be pretty special as it's our first birthday party and we're holding a prom with dandy highwaymen and punk rock prom queens! It would be lovely if some of you could make it:

X-posted Hello

Hi there...
I'm vx69 (also known as vx "Cheerleader" 69 or as "dirty old scumbag" by some), data :

french (indeed)

mostly listening to : industrial, punk, rock'n'roll, and every possible mix of these (passionate fan of : Foetus, The Cramps, Ministry, lords Of Acid, Zodiac Mindwarp, and, by the way, ZATS)

member of Punish Yourself (http://punishyourself.free.fr ), a band that has been described as "cyberpunk" or "Industry horror picture show" (by the way, I'm a RHPS addict). We have lyrics like "I wanna love you pretty lady, I'm mad a about your fantasy, you're turning me into a zombi, I wanna be your zombi" - not very clever  but apocalyptically funny (or so I hope)

can't remember how I discovered Zombina And The Skeletones, but I instantly loved their stuff. So catchy, so fun, so soooooo... I'm not always a big "horror punk" addict (I'm more into sheer gothabilly/deadbilly like Deadbolt or Ghoultown) (what the fuck am I writing ? Spooksters are united - they will never be divided) ANYWAY the pop-side of ZATS instantly appealed to me. Zombie pop is what I need.

and here's a little picture of my own self :

between heaven and tesco's

well, tonight was good... down in Clayton Square, with all the shoppers...

the band was good even if the sound was patchy. The mics weren't turned on until AFTER the first number, and Doc's was low all the way through... Zombina was loaned the Radio Mic in time for the second half of ComeOn! so it wasn't TOO bad... no heckling, egging, or other anti-social behaviour on display, and only one half-hearted attempt to 'rush' the stage by a couple of drunken piggy backers.

short set, due to time restrictions, but hopefully it'll be better next week.

I didn't get a freebie CD-R (Chris says I've got all the stuff on it anyway, but that's not the point...)

see you there next week? it's OK, we don't bite... :[

Set list: ComeOn! / FBI / Punk Rock Vampires: Destroy! / Zombie Hop / Janie's Got A Dissolvo Ray / I Love Rock'n'Roll / Prom Night

Fresh Meat

Hi, I probably should have done this a couple of days ago, but I didnt

I'm new. My name is Amanda. I've been a fan of Zombina since my housemate introduced me to them. He first saw them when they played the twist/soundhouse in colchester, where I live. Because I'm a bit crap, I missed this gig, but I heard the album and was blown away. Before this I had no real idea about rockabilly/psychobilly.

I'm also a student at essex uni, and my favourite thing to do is check out ebay. My weirdest purchase is a katana! hehe

Anyway, I'm planning to post a fair wee bit, so get used to my scaaary face. boo!

Zombina CDR

A little while ago Zombina released a limited CDR which is proving increasingly difficult a try and track down. Does anyone out there have a copy as I'd very much like to hear it or can anyone suggest where I can pick a copy up from? Cheers.
