When I first realized that I am not living a healthy an balanced life was when I started hurting myself. I wasn't eating right, and fainting a lot; all this wasn't good at all. When I entered college I started my first yoga class and let me just say I had found my own cure. What was ironic was the cure was within myself and my willingness to try something new. Yoga really helped me realize just how off balanced I really am. Though I my diet is still not very good it is starting to get better, and I am learning to find a center in my life. A piece of advice I would give to all is learn how to breathe. It is important to just take a moment and just breathe otherwise the stresses of life will weigh you down until you have nothing left but stress and anger all of which are not good or healthy.
i was driven to create a community because i am frustraited with my lack of spiritual practice. (a)
and (b) because i saw a need for a community which is friendly to those people who admire everything about life. who see the positive in everyone and most things in the world.
(im not talking capitilism or politics, but rather... positive in technology AND before the mechanical revolution.)
those who understand it is ourselves who are responsible for our addictions. it is our responsibilty to overcome them and live in good health.
