Meat Loaf Fan Campaign Project

HANG COOL TEDDY BEAR

Meat Loaf has launched a brand new rock album for the 21st century.
It's new, exciting, Meat Loaf bringing rock‘n‘roll, roaring, into the 21st century. This is Meat, finally unleashed as you've never heard him before. It's big, it’s bold, it’s spectacular, even for Meat!
Finally unleashed he gives us his own vision of rock'n'roll for the future.
It’s a cutting edge album that is up-to-date and important. His trademark passion, drama and power is instantly recognisable to his fans. But there's a new direction, an edge that runs from power ballads to hip-hop influenced rockabilly, screaming blues-rock and heavy metal that will surprise and attract those who just like good rock music, and amaze anyone who thought they knew what a Meat Loaf record would sound like. It's different, edgier, and modern, with big guitar-based arrangements that break free of the Bat Out of Hell tradition and deliver something unexpected and aimed at a new and younger audience. Music reviewers have spotted this, but the record labels still lean towards capturing people who've bought his records before, and these days after the release, seem to drop promotion like a stone and move onto their next issue.
So Meat needs his committed fans to take up the banner
Together we can carry this amazing new album to his wider fan base, and to all those who'll love this album once they hear it. And if you haven’t heard it yet, come to our site and be amazed!! It’s Meat Loaf, but a new and very different sound that will knock your socks off!

We need fans on the ground who can spread the word, directly and on the internet to those they know like Meat's special brand of rock, but also to the widest audience possible. We want to get this heard by people who only think of him in terms of Bat Out of Hell, and to a younger audience who will be delighted and blown away by the blues-rock and heavy metal guitar sound of his new style.

The concert!

I saw Meat Loaf yesterday at Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City, and he was amazing!!!!!

If you like to see pictures, they are here.  They are mostly blurry because my hands were shaking pretty bad, and because Meat wouldn't stand still, but there are a few really good ones hidden amidst them!

Just thought I'd share. :-)

New to the comm, long time fan ^^

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the comm, but have been a Meat Loaf fan for forever. I'm filling out this facts thing from the user info. Seems a good start. ^^

Name: Sandra
Age: 19
Favorite Meat Loaf or Jim Steinman song or songs: Rock N Roll Dreams Come Through, Objects In The Rear View Mirror, I'd Do Anything For Love, Original Sin, Bat Out Of Hell, You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Heaven Can Wait, The Monster Is Loose, Blind As A Bat, It' All Coming Back To Me Now, Alive, Bad For Good, The Future Ain't What It Used To Be...

Those are all I can think of... at the moment... but generally I can say that there's probably not a song I don't like. Oh, and of course the whole Dance Of The Vampires Musical for which Jim Steinman wrote. I went to see that in Stuttgart a few years back. Loved it to bits.

When did you get into Meat Loaf if you can remember: Ok... I think I must have been about 5 or so. I can't remember exactly, but it's close.
Do you play guitar or any other instrument for that matter and what: I used to play the piano, but haven't for a long time now. But music is a great part of my life and I sing. Alone, singing lessons and in a choir. I have been looking for a band to sing with for some time, but nothing ever worked out right. I hope, though that should I go to university in September the chances will be better.
What Meat Loaf Ablums do you own: Bat Out Of Hell I, II, III, Welcome to the Neighbourhood and Couldn't Have Said It Better
Been to Any Shows: Last night. In Frankfurt. It was just totally a dream come true... It was indescribable... Can hardly put in words how happy it made me...

Meat Loaf pics

I'm really really bored. And hot.
It's way too hot around here.
So I figured I'd post a few cropped, (very small), Meat Loaf piccies.
Theyre small cos I was quite far back, and wanted clear piccies, rather than the blurred one at the end, from where I zoomed in.

Meat Loaf!Collapse )

I have over 100 photo's from 3 concerts, so, eventually, they'll make it into a Flckr gallery.
Until then, a taster. ^_^

Bizzare Meat Loaf dream

I've had a few Meat Loaf dreams in my lifetime. Last night I had a dream about a video for "Blind As a Bat". It was strange. I also was dreaming about him performing on the old SNL, like he did back in the day, and he was as old as he is now and had the same long hair he did back then. One shot it was in a ponytail, one shot it was down and it kept switching.

I'm sure it all meant something. Probably just the fact I have "Blind as a Bat" as my song on Myspace and I'm looking for a new hair cut! lol
