Sitting 2

Severus and Ginevra -- Her Flat -- Complete

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Thursday, March 30th -- Evening

Severus Snape does not fidget. No matter how uncomfortable the situation may become. He'd learned that lesson very early in his time with the Dark Lord. Learned how to sit perfectly still and attentive.

Severus fought not to squirm in his chair.

Ginevra was doing whatever an artist did to prepare to paint a portrait and he still wasn't sure how she'd managed to talk him into being the subject of that portrait.

This is no worse than sitting through one of Albus' three hour staff meetings, waiting for him to finish assigning tasks to which ever staff member zoned out first.

Who am I kidding, this is a thousand times worse. She'll be studying me, pinpointing my flaws. My nose, my hair... When did I become so vain?
