Where: Malfoy Manor
What: Not exactly a friendly midnight cuppa
When: A few days before term starts
Lucius Malfoy’s mansion was one of those places that common sense said not to be in the middle of the night. Most unfortunately, common sense didn’t match up too well with necessity these days, and so Andromeda found herself on his doorstep at one o’clock in the morning, wrapped up tightly in a traveling cloak and praying that her parents wouldn’t find reason to go into her bedroom this late and find her gone. Wasn’t as though she wanted to be there anyway, but she wasn’t going to live under Bella’s thumb. Not anymore. She’d been fretting over how to do that and not get her sister killed, and she had had an Idea.
Raising a gloved hand, she knocked hard on the front door, not giving a damn that she was probably waking him up. Served him right, for all the help he'd given her the other day.
