Here are more of the items from DICIB’s Spring/Summer 2005 line, featured at this years Calgary Cares
This is the Spectre Multi Dress – cut so that the skirt part hugs the hips, and the top just drapes over, it also has extra-long sleeves which gather on the lower arm. The dress also has holes along the arms and front and back. These holes mean you can pass your head through one of the holes other than the standard neckline. You can also weave your arm in and out of the holes in the sleeve. It’s very couture, very versatile, and very daring.
This is the Spectre Keyhole dress. It’s a simple fitted dress with a softened keyhole neckline and a slightly flared hem. The second photo is shown with a previous season’s half-wrap top in croc-print polyester. All of the garments in the “spectre” grouping are made of this really interesting 100% polyester knit, with a metallic silver finish. They’re ghostly, somewhat alien, and inspired by movies like Fifth Element, Blade Runner and Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow.
