Name: Andrew Gimlett

sex: M

age: 37

Tell us the most important thing about you: I am not a carbon copy of an individual. I am just me.

Tell us one thing that you can't live without: I cant live with out words. For with out words there is nothing.

Who's your favorite poet and why?: Has to be Poe. I like dark and mysterious

Describe yourself using only words. No pictures, please.: Sharp father of many. To which I would add wit and heart. Not limited by my age but bolstered by my life experience. I am ever changing sometimes happy while internally morose and other times laughing to cover my tiers. There are no few words to describe me but rather a feeling you get. The warmth of the sun or the smell of the pavement just after it has rained. Things that evoke more then the obvious, more then you think you feel but that which you don’t. I am made up of all these things.

pixiesfan wants to know, do you like Quizno's?: I want to be embalmed in their mesquite sauce on the chicken mesquite sandwich. That is how much I love it.

Post one poem:

A Good Friend

Am I a good friend?
Am I the friend I would want?
Do I do enough and take little?
Am I helpful in time of need?

If the answer it truly yes then I am lost.

Where have all my friends gone?
Was I not a good friend?
Was I not the friend I would want?
Did I take too much and give little?
Did I turn my back in your time of need?

Of course not.

Is this my payment for being a good friend?

I would do any thing for you,
Any thing to make you feel better, to lift you up again.
So where are you now?

I would run to your side without you asking
So where are you now?

You ask for the truth, my thoughts, my words.
Now that you have them, where are you now?

Where Are You Now?

Why must I pay for being a good friend?
For being your friend?

My heart breaks.
Yes, that sound
My heart breaks.

My reward, your payment
Defiance and anger
Mistrust and misuse

Am I a good friend?
Am I the friend I would want?
Do I do enough and take little?
Am I helpful in time of need?

You should ask yourself the same

Are you the good friend?
Are you the friend you would want to have?

What would your answers be?

If I am gone where would you turn?

Are you the friend you would want?
Are you a good friend?

Promote us to at least one community and leave us the link. (I don't want to fill other people's communities with tons of promos for this one. That's kind of rude. Promote us anywhere but where we found you. Thanks): I will if I get in. For no entry there is no reward.

Out of curiousity, how did you find us?: The ever wonderful Meagan pointed me here to read her stuff.
