Mason Proper's "There's a Moth in Your Chest" is heavily schizophrenic pop music from Michigan made by five 20-year-olds who all live in a house together. Incredibly lush and varied recordings, with subject matter that stretches from brain parasites, icicles coming to life and attempting to fall through somebody walking below, and strange gray creatures in the sky over a formal ball.

If You're Friends of P Than You're Friends With Me.

Howdy. Hope I don't offend any of you (or your mods) but you guys seem to like some kick ass music and I'm SURE some of you indie kids are fan of the moog, and therefore you must be fans of The Rentals (you know.. Matt Sharp and Pat Wilson from Weezer among other fantastic indie icons... can you say Petra Haden? mmm).

Any true indie kid knows Return of the Rentals is a brilliant CD so rather than recommending new music, just thought I'd clue you into the TRUE RETURN of the Rentals, that's right folks, Matt Sharp and the gang are BACK! (I know, it's about time!)

Check our their myspace and show them some support so they can get their new record out already!

woo. I figured I'd be active & post a few of the bands I've been listening to.

Soooo I noticed Ambulance LTD was in the interest section, so that's cool because they're totally awesome. I got their CD over a year ago, but I haven't listened to them in a while until a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't listened to them, check them out. http://myspace.com/ambulanceltd

Veda. Anyone heard of them? I think they're pretty new. I found them on Myspace. They're supposed to be coming here for a concert sometime, so I figured I'd check them out. They're nifty. http://www.myspace.com/veda

And finally The Shore. They're a bit different, but worth checking out. xD http://www.purevolume.com/theshore

So, yay for being active, right?
