zortified8:07am: Hour to kill
Until I'm either asleep, or going to Trader Joe's. So! New round open. ETA Round closed! Rum not gone. ;-)

Give me the following:

fandom
character (just one)
a colour
a verb

(Why do I feel like I'm doing Mad Libs?)

zortified7:02am: Round Something
I've finally convinced my brain that I don't have to complete all requests before I open the floor to new ones. ;-)

Fandoms available: any listed in the profile.

The rules:

Name your fandom, and main character(s).

Give me a one sentence summary of the ficlet. If your request is too complex or detailed, chances are I won't write it. (Basically, if you tell me everything that needs to be in the ficlet.) Feel free to provide a summary for ficlet in an existant series.

zortified8:14pm: Round 10
OK, so round 9 isn't closed, it's just.. well suited for long, complicated stuff. ;-) I'm in the mood for short, simpler bits, so I'm gonna go ahead and open the next round and just do whatever I feel like, at whatever time I feel like it.

Give me three things:

character or fandom
genre (e.g., h/c, drama, humour, dark)
one word

And I'm going to start doing..something clever, to 'mark off' when I've done a request so I don't keep feeling like I have to go in order. ;-)

Give me back my language,
let me speak the tongue you taught me.
I will lie the great lies in your honor...

zortified2:22pm: Proposal request
OK, so I was gonna do this myself, then I thought - why should I, when I can probably get someone to do it for me?

I need an index (a href links) to the SGA centaur snippets I've posted to this community. (You don't need to link to comments, specifically, since they happen mostly in threads for sga centaur posts).

In exchange, I'll write you a centaur ficlet of your choosing. (In a fandom I write in.) First come, first served.

Unless, of course, my archivist pipes up that she's alread doing this, in which case.. well, she gets a ficlet. ;-)

zortified8:42am: My response to rosewildeirish prompt is posted here, in my fic lj. Darn thing grew beyond ficlet status. ;-)

zortified12:56pm: Round #9
OK, this one is gonna require some work on your part. ;-) Give me a line or phrase from a poem. (Not a song lyric, but a poem.) I'll either use it as a title, or in the ficlet - or not at all if you pick something really weird or hard to use. (Yes, I know you people!)

On this one you can't give me a fandom or character, because it'll just depend on how the line inspires me. Feel free to cite the reference, or just provide the line/phrase.

The grass was blue, and John felt weird staring at it. The thing was, he didn't feel all that weird about the fact the grass was staring back.

The leaves bent forward, and, at Teyla's cue, John bowed in reply.

"We come in peace," Teyla said, spreading her arms wide, including the entire field of grass in her greeting. The grass waved again, creating intricate patterns. Teyla smiled and inclined her head. "We are welcome, as long as we remain strictly on the paths." She pointed at the gravel walkways along the edge of the grass meadow.

John wasn't sure he was ever going to be able to walk around outside again.
