zooeyd_stills, a stillness community for the talented Zooey Deschanel. Join if you'd like to participate in the challenges or if you'd just like to be a part of the community.

rules
-Join the community.
-No animation! This is a stillness community which means still icons only.
-Each challenge will have certain pictures to icon. Some challenges may be more lax in what pictures to use, so check the challenges.
-Only enter new icons that you have not posted anywhere else. If you do, your entry will be disqualified.
-Icons must fit LJ standards (unless it’s a header contest, in which you will be given certain requirements): 100x100px, no more than 40kb, and in .jpg, .png, or .gif format.
-Use whatever brushes/textures/etc. you want.
-General limit for amount of entries per person is 3 icons, though this may change according to certain challenges.
-All entries are anonymous and must stay that way until the winners are announced. So no posting your icons anywhere else or asking people to vote for you.
-Do not vote for yourself.
-No anonymous votes.
-All entries will be screened, as well as votes.
-If you would like to use an entry as a userpic, wait until the winners are announced and then ask to find out who the maker is so you may give proper credit.
-Each challenge is unique which means there may be unique rules. Read the entire challenge post before you enter your icons, please.
-Finally, have fun!

Comment on the challenge entry with your icons and the image urls. If your entry does not follow any of the rules, it will be disqualified. All entries will be screened to ensure total anonymity. Remember, challenges end on Fridays, 9pm central. Check the world clock for your time zone. Your entry should look like this:

voting
Voting will take place the following Sunday after the challenges finish and will end Tuesday, 9pm central. Please check for your time zone on the world clock. To vote, comment with your first, second, and third place choices on the voting post. There will be a mod’s choice, but it will be chosen by me.

Points system:
First place- 5 points
Second place- 3 points
Third place- 1 point

***NEW!*** Best cropping: will be determined by a tally of votes

awards
Each 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, best cropping, and mod’s choice will be given a banner which includes the icon, placing, challenge number, and community name.
