Hey :)
So today was pretty pwnsome overall. Got up at nine to clean my room and pretend to pack. I basically just blared The Killers and threw a bunch of crap in my wash basket. Oh, and I had a little panic crisis about my outfit for tomorrow. My legs are too long. They suck. So when I wear shorts with my wellies, I look like...a clunky rhino? Yeah. So I swapped the shorts for jeans, which means I'll be roasting, but at least I'll avoid the rhinoness. I bought a trilby yesterday-that's a hat, incase you don't know-and my friend customised it for me. But it turned out a bit..well...a bit crap? So I took off all the stuff and now its fine...kinda. Its better at least.
So then me and my mum headed off to the shopping centre to grocery shop. It was actually fun for a bit, because it was one of those super dooper monthly shops where we get everything and she's a lot less strict on what I can throw in the trolley. So I have ice-cream, and I got this amazing muffin that had a Boston cream centre? And it was all... -sigh- Mel >.< and Augustana singing in the middle of Dunnes. But then it turned out disgusting, and I was all... -angry-. So then I took it out on my flag by making the letters BIGGER. And getting permenant marker all over my hands and...uh..elbows in the process.
We're getting take-out tonight, and then I'll wash my hair. I have to get my stepdad to saw down our big flag stick. And then I have to pack my handbag...which is half done. We have these fugly waterproof ponchos. They make me look like ET in that scene with the bike, without the bike of course. I couldn't sleep last night; too anxious. I was awake until midnight singing to myself, and then my mum came in all dazed and odd asking why my light was on and nearly caught me in the middle of a charming Dido tribute, so then, after one more play of Cloudbusting, I finally drifted off.
So, yeah. TOMORROW GUYS???? I'm. ridiculously. excited. And I've got a coat-tail left to ride. Sorry. I'm so thrilled. I won't be able to sleep tonight. I keep making lists of things I need. My phone and camera are being charged now. I still have to clean but I'm making posts at TKC telling everyone we'll be playing charades in the queue...Watched Bloc Party's new video today to get in the mood (they're supporting fweee) and it was...disturbing? But I do like lots of their stuff so it should be okay.
Agh. Someone sedate me.
I'm really hungry.
BTW MEL. lmao at that movie :P I'm too lazy to reply to the comment xD

Ща сижу в квартире, запертой изнутри. Службы, придуманные для открывания дверей, работают только с 09:00. Плюс еще и дверь ломать будут. Обидно. Дверь деревянная и симпатишная.

I'm guessing this'll last until around about whenever Day and Age hits the shelves, or I see a video for Neon Tiger or Spaceman, but I have a current obsession with Florence and the Machine. If you live in the UK or Ireland, you've probably heard her song 'Kiss with a Fist' on ads for 4 music. That's what got me into her. But she covered a song by one of my other favourite bands, Cold War Kids, called Hospital Beds. And as much as I loved CWK's original, it was always lacking a passion or something...
But I was listening to this song in the pouring rain while I walked my dog, and it gave me random muse, so I'm gonna give everyone the youtube link. No video, just bad pictures, so just listen. If you don't think the line 'Bring your buckets by the dozen, bring your nieces and your cousins' gives you shivers, I'll eat my hat.

Here's part three of my Killers/The Edge of Love inspired story-thingamagig. Its incredibly easy to write, but bear in mind this is just a draft. One day I'll extend everything. Its not even proofread because I'm lazy. Aren't Sienna, Keira and Matthew perfect for the three mains? I luff them. That's why I make so many graphics...O.o ENJOY!
Also, check out Mel's stuff its so much better <3
(and btw I think it keeps getting shorter O.o My only rule is that they're all over 1200 words, so...yeah)

FOUR DAYS!!!!
Four days until I go back to February last year, except this time its in a big field, the moustache is absent, I'm with two people who probably couldn't care less if they went or not but wanted to come for me.
I have a big Irish flag that I want to write something on, but I've no idea what. I suck at witticisms. And I'd write 'I LUFF YOU BRANDON FLOWERS' if only I didn't feel guilty that the Dave, Mark and Ronnie lovers wouldn't be so vocal. I love them too. Especially Ronnie. He needs to cut his hair like...badly. I miss the days when he looked like a monkey.
-sigh-
BUT ANYWAY. I'm heading to Marlay Park in less than 96 hours. Jesus. Its too close. I'm not prepared.
If this turns out like the dream I had, we'll have to have words.. |
