Chris Wilson from CWAnimation just released a demo video for "Chronicles of Nerm". The film is slated to be released as a 10-minute short. Wilson has been working independently on "Chronicles of Nerm", the follow up to "The Adventures of Nerm and BG" The demo contains no voiceovers(for those who tuned in to hear ZB), just an orchestral narrative. Yes, consider it a spoiler if you will. We will post more about "Chronicles of Nerm" as information becomes available.

The CGI is downright *amazing*! Be aware that this was done solely by Chris Wilson.

Footage of the Game panel at Cut! Film Festival 2009

Game directors Marc Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank) joined cast members Milo Ventimiglia, Zoe Bell, and Terry Crews to talk about their long overdue post-apoclayptic / dystopian /cyberpunk actioner at CUT! Film Festival 2009. True to their image as directors of crazy insane films, they talk about everything from naked fighting, attempting stunts so dangerous that even their stuntmen wouldn't do them to how strip clubs in Albuquerque are like the 9 stages of hell.

There is some...unfortunate laughter in the background, and Zoë's cold has turned into full-fledged bronchitis. Girlfriend needs a vacation, I'm thinking, somewhere sunny and warm. Thus far she's mostly in this clip, and the rest are the guys riffing on the movie and each other.

Embedding is being really weird, so here's the link:

Kickin' Ass

An extra from Crackle on Angel of Death's fight scenes. Interviews with coordinator Ron Yuan, Paul Etheridge, and of course, Zoë Bell, and a closer look at the bathroom fight scene.

As we know, ZB did some work on Shortland Street early in her career. I came across a site that has some video and information about the show. I think this is the first site I've been able to find thus far.

A South Pacific Pictures production, Shortland Street is a fast-paced serial drama set in an inner city Auckland hospital. The iconic show is based around the births, deaths and marriages of the staff, family and patients of Shortland Street Hospital. Screening on TVNZ’s TV2 network 5 days a week it is (as of 2008) into its 16th year of production making it New Zealand’s longest running drama. Characters and lines from the show have entered the culture, most famously, “you’re not in Guatemala now, Dr Ropata!”

Episode 4 gets even grittier; there's a real knucklebusting knock-down drag-out in this one.

A new behind the scenes video. There's some good bits that show the setups of the fight scenes and interviews with Rod Yuan, stunt coordinator, and Paul Etheredge, director. You can also see just how many people it takes to make even something "small" like this. That million bucks probably evaporated like *snap*.

Can comm members outside of the US see this video? If promos and other video are visible outside the US but not the actual episodes, I'd say a shit fit would not be overreacting.

Two more short promos for Angel of Death!

Eve's Tips for Killing #12: Tools
Quite frankly, "Tools" is AWESOME.

Eve's Tips for Killing #18: Disguises

Eve asks: are you excited yet???

Apparently, someone at Crackle is giving Comic Vine early dibs at these "vignette" videos. This is the second exclusive release from Comic Vine.

The next two vignettes to be released:

Angel of Death I Am Eve - "Disguises"
Angel of Death I Am Eve - "Tools"

Blair Butler took a little trip to the set of a web series starring Zoe Bell, who you might remember as the New Zealand-based stuntwoman from Grindhouse and Lucy Lawless, who made herself famous by playing Xena. It's called Angel of Death and Blair grilled them about the story of the show and the process of making a web series.

More of what you already know :)

Detroit rock & roll hotspot 313.jac at Jacoby's has hosted the best up-and-coming acts for over a decade, seeing all sorts of happenings like Jack White leaping onstage with the Waxwings to sing backup and Kid Rock holding court.

On Friday, August 9, 2008, Jacoby's played host to a particularly unique happening as Hollywood invaded in the form of the cast of the roller derby film "Whip It", including star/director Drew Barrymore, stars Ellen Page, Juliette Lewis, Eve, Zoe Bell, indie popster Landon Pigg and Jimmy Fallon as well as many derby girl cast members.

Following sets by Detroit-area acts I, Crime, Rouge Satellites, and Satori Circus, an impromptu jam broke out as Juliette Lewis & Eve took to the stage and performed the disco anthem "I Will Survive" backed by I, Crime guitarist/vocalist Jennie Knaggs and drummer Charlie McCutcheon (who took over from Zoe Bell's initial stint behind the kit). After a wobbly start, it turned into a unique performance that made up in fun what it lacked in polish.

Shot & edited by: Peter Schorn

Vocals: Juliette Lewis, Eve
Guitar: Jennie Knaggs
Drums: Zoë Bell, Charlie McCutcheon
