Lionsgate has just announced that the upcoming action film that used to be called “Game” has been renamed to “Citizen Game.“

Next to Milo is Zoe Bell holding/playing with a Gerard Butler doll;look how happy she is! And next to her are sitting Brian Taylor, Mark Neveldine and Terry Crews, who signed my crappy journal too.

Zoë was at the Streamy Awards last night with Rosario Dawson. Rosario was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Dramatic Series for her work on Gemini Division.

Angel of Death was not nominated in any category, probably for one of two reasons:
1) It wasn't released in time to be considered
2) Someone had their head right up their ass

However, Zoë was a presenter.

+9, including Rosario )

Also, some thumbnails at WireImage.com of her and Rosario. Sadly, I do not have an account with them, or I would pull my favorite: Zoë showing off what god gave her, with Rosario's hand sneaking into frame from the right giving it a hearty pat.

Once again, Abby over at Oh! Zoe has been hard at work scouring through video to bring us, the fans, the juicy tidbits of Ms. Bell's work on film. She's managed to nab 16 HQ Screencaptures and 2 Behind The Scenes candids from the movie, 'An American Carol' (2008) It appears Zoë hasn't been credited on the IMDB page.

Another set report, this one from Comic Book Resources.

A little spoilery under the cut, plus another pic (also a little spoilery).

While CBR News was on set, filming concerned Eve’s neighbor Vera, played by Lucy Lawless. )

“I was such a huge fan of hers after her stunt work and her documentary ‘Double Dare’ and seeing her in “Grindhouse,” so I thought, why don’t I try to come up with something just for her?” Brubaker said. “I suggested to [John], ‘I have a notebook full of crime story ideas, why don’t I just see if there’s something that would make sense to sort of retrofit for Zoë and practically the first thing that popped into my head was the ‘Angel of Death’ idea.

Bell says she first encountered the project a year-and-a-half ago. Given a look at various concepts, this one “sparked my interest,” she said. Entering into the project as it was still being shaped, she was excited by a “solid action role for a female.” The enthusiasm on the part of the producers also made the idea more inviting. As opposed to “business type moneymakers” she encountered elsewhere, everyone involved in the planning “Angel of Death” was “genuinely excited.”

And another interview, this time with creator Ed Brubaker, who confirms the first quarter release date:

EB: Zoe is fantastic. She’s so much fun, and such a fucking pro. Hanging out with her and Doug Jones on set was one of the highlights of my year so far. And yeah, Zoe has brought a ton to Eve’s character. She actually wrote a short bio for her, so she could understand her more, and it was really gripping. She had stuff I hadn’t even thought about in there. I think people are going to be a bit stunned when they see her in this. The camera loves her as much as the crew does.

Angel of Death is currently on location in Los Angeles, and SCI FI Wire was invited to the set Oct. 22 for an exclusive tour and chat with Bell and director Etheridge.

The day's shoot took place at the Linda Vista Hospital in the Boyle Heights neighborhood outside of downtown L.A. The hospital was originally constructed in 1904 and ceased operation in 1990. It has served as an appropriately creepy location ever since, primarily catering to horror material. Even in daylight, the endless hallways and dark, dank appearance conjures discomfort. Add to that the smell of old age and the abuse of countless production crews.

"It's so f--king cool just to have her here," New Zealand native Bell says with uncontrolled excitement about her fellow Kiwi. "I feel like she's doing me a favor. ... I'm honored to have her on the set, and it just feels so comfortable having her here. Watching her today, it's so different compared to when I was 19 and a stunt double. I used to watch how she moved so that I could mimic it. I used to love watching her act, because she's highly entertaining, and the camera loves her. But it never occurred to me to learn from her craft as an actress."

More on Angel of Death! (Bolding is mine.)

Behind the Scenes with Crackle’s ‘Angel of Death’ Zoe Bell

"With Angel of Death, Zoe Bell is making her transition from stuntwoman to full-fledged badass female action star. “Eve is guiltless, heartless — emotionally sterile before she suffers the trauma that changes her,” Bells tells us. “She has to learn to co-exist with emotion” she adds, letting on that she has worked her character backstory well beyond what writer Ed Brubaker had written out."

    Spoilery bits under cut! )

"Bell is taking her new found acting role seriously — prep work for the series included not only the several weeks of fight rehearsals with her stunt coordinator, but also acting and dialogue coaching with Chad McCord. When asked about the transition from stunt work to acting, she concedes, “it’s actually fairly natural, almost comforting since my past work has been so physical.” Physical work is of course Bell’s wheelhouse and her dual-threat skills will be used to the fullest. “Oh yeah, there will be heaps of stunts,” she assures us, “and loads of asses will be whooped.” Eve’s tools of choice? “Mostly hand combat, but also some guns, tasers and even a baton.”"

There's way more in the full article above.

ARE YOU EXCITED YET? I AM.

Excitement! As many of you know, Zoë was not only the stunt coordinator for Bitch Slap! but she also had a small role as "Rawhide."

They released her character poster recently, and can I just say, aggha;;aeljafnfae?!
