Pairings/Characters: Female!Zabuza/Haku
Genre: AU
Warnings: None.
Notes: Random thing that popped up while I was studying for a test. This is a modern day AU. I may write another fic soon explaining their circumstances, but generally I've lessened their age gaps. Haku is a college student, while Zabuza's just one or two years older than him. Zabuza's a bit less quieter here, and I'm not sure if it's because she's just irritated or it's natural. Also lazy to change Zabuza's name, and really -- 'Zabuza' is already a kickass name, and this new muse likes it.

Hello all, I'm glad to find a comm for this pairing.
Was re-reading the manga (I only own the first couple of volumes) and fell in love with them all over again. I think this was the first Naruto pairing I ever liked. I got the urge to draw something for them and this is the result.

Title: Weapon

Pairing: Haku/Zabuza
Warning(s): AU, unbeta'd, blood/gore descriptions, alcohol use/reference, language, yaoi, does slight fluff count?
Summary: Two years after the fight in the Wave Country, Haku, Momochi Zabuza, along with a few others, bring down the Mizukage. A month later, Haku is released from Zabuza's service and quickly falls into depression.
The fic itself was inspired by the song "Weapon" by Matthew Good (as it just seems to fit these two incredibly).
Author Notes: I decided to get my lazy, procrastinating butt in gear and start typing up some more chapters. Wouldn't you know it, I went and spent most of the day typing up the remaining chapters and the epilogue-bit, so this is a colossal update. This marks the longest fic that I have written and completed. (Yes, I know eight chapters doesn't seem that long. >_> I'm just glad I actually finished something multi-chaptered.) If you choose to read it, reviews would be lovely. Especially if you're telling me that I should've been less lazy and impatient and gotten a beta, or commenting on characterization. :3
Previous Chapters: Intro, Chapter 1
New Chapters: Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6, and the Epilogue (or chapter 7).
