Gayz and I didn't get to meet today, so no Dark Knight for me. T_T How depressing. T_T
So now, me and my family, because of the bad weather, decided to just have food delivered. I need my fries, dammit! T_T Fast food dinner, what a drag (Never mind that I hunger for fatty fries....).
But can't really do anything about it. We just have shop for provisions tomorrow. Typhoon Igme is starting to seriously irritate me, and even though we aren't part of the affected area, fact still remains that we are being bombarded with heavy rain and slightly strong winds. Waaaahhhh... Rain, rain, go away, come again next week when I have no pressing matters to do. T_T;;;
Oh man... T_T
Twenty minutes more and the food will be here...

I do NOT like the latest issue of Ultimate X-Men (96).
Oh, today I also finally saw The Dark Knight. It was amazing and awesome but it was also much longer than I thought it was. It felt like LOTR-length. I don't mind, long movies are alright as long as they're cool like this one. :DDD
I loved the Joker, Heath Ledger did a good job. <3 Harvey Dent and Gordon were pretty cool too. Everyone was!
Now I'm gonna have to ignore all of the fangirls who post "Why so serious?" crap all over their Gaia account and other places. Those trend followers are annoying. What happened to your Sweeney Todd huh? :P

I am sitting here trying to concentrate and my father had a karaoke show of some sort blaring through the house. I firmly believe the inventor of the karaoke machine has a special place reserved in hell just for him with a karaoke machine, Britney Spears, and Ho Chow, or what ever the oriental guy from American Idol's name was. And the creator of AI. I've see three episodes and that was three too many.
Let's see, where was I. Monday I had my first positioning test. Tuesday I had an Imaging test and a Patient care test, Wednesday was a Positioning lab and Thursday was another Patient care test. Ernie gave us a take home test in Imaging and Intro both, and Thursday I turned in a paper for extra points on the questions I missed on my first Imaging test.
Monday the 27th I have a Positioning test then Tuesday I have another Imaging test followed by an Intro test Wednesday and who knows when Tracy's next patient care test will be.
I'm tired and I still have hours of work to do before I can even get to start studying what I have done plus all of the general house work to be done. I think I may take an hour long nap and get started again.

| Weekly Update Two that Should be Three |

So yeah, I forgot to post a blog last week. Oh, well. Anyhow, I was working on my novel, plus some short stories. I'm starting to think that at least right now, I should focus on the short stories. "Why?" you ask. Well, because I can get around $300.00 per story, as a new writer. If I get accepted with that (I'm trying Realms of Fantasy magazine), the more established I become, the more each word pays.
I've finished one story, Demon Summoning, and am working on two others, called Horror Show and Plane of Escher. I also started two new fics (I know I shouldn't, since I already have several to do, but eh), called Ms Detective and Unnamed Final Fantasy IX Fic. I'm also half-way through Idiot Beloved, and need to save its sequel Firebird Sweet to rtf files as well. I read them when I'm offline, along with John Bellairs' stories. I kind of love his writing, and the Edward Gorey frontispieces don't hurt.
Um... also, we took Hobblet to the vet, and if her absess in her mouth doesn't get better on antibiotics, it might be a tumour and she'll have to be put down. Wesley just got back from the vet, too, and if his antibiotics hadn't been working, he would have had to have been put down, too. Fortunately they did. July sucks.
I think that's it. Unless I forgot something else.
ETA: I forgot something else. I updated the Moon Unit page. It's very pretty, and I added some stuff, like guidelines and a picture and things.
ETA2: Cali brought a frog in, and dropped him. I tried to grab him, but he piggy (froggy?) backed on Lovecraft then jumped into a corner. Then vanished. I don't know how, but he did. Houdini frog.

I really like this layout. The effect on YoungSaeng turned out really good. I can't even remember if I ended up using Colour Burn or just overlay. I thought JaeJoong's could have been a little more accentuated, but I'm content. ^^ Haha~

Well, camping went quite well once we got up there! I was supposed to pick up my bro at his work and then we were going to head up then, but on the north end of town my car overheated badly and started making odd sounds so it ended up as the opposite. My brother came and picked ME up (after going to two wrong places, background noise over cell phones is icky) and we headed up. Today I'm quite sore and limping from the hike yesterday, but I think I managed to get some amazing pics and I had a good time even on the hike. A lot less family showed up than we've had in the past, which made for what I thought was a nice change. It's a lot easier to find things for seven people would like to do rather than fifteen or more.

Grand Theft Parsons is a damn funny movie, should anyone reading this be a fan of black comedy. (Black comedy pertaining to something that has a darker humor; not the latest Eddie Murphy movie.) It concerns the (true) theft of country star Gram Parsons's recently deceased corpse by his friend Phil Kaufman so that the latter may fulfill an oath the two had sworn to each other.
Parsons' death prompts Kaufman to fulfill his promise and a subtle black comedy unwinds, with Kaufman bribing mortuary personnel, renting a psychedelic hearse from Larry Oster-burg (Michael Shannon) and trekking across the US with him, pursued all the while by Parsons' ex-girlfriend (Christina Applegate) with Kaufman's girlfriend (Marley Shelton) and his father (Robert Forster).
The real Phil Kaufman may be seen at the end of the movie portraying some gray-haired dude in handcuffs. It (the entire movie) is real funny shit.
Also I wish to extend my congratulations to Hiei08--or, here at the LJ, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) inuyuyu--for her completion of Life Goes On, the fourth story in a series she began publishing in January beginning with Captured! ^_^
Speaking of fanfiction, I'm making some progress with "Jagamino." Needed to revise some stuff before I could go any further. I keep getting distracted, though. Ideas for four other stories, only one of which has been begun and put up ("Humidity") keep hitting me. One of them's a Sniper- and Hiei-centric oneshot built on a "Lost Boys" (no, not the movie with the awesome '80s-decked out vamps) theme. Sniper's sort of a crack character in fanfiction anyhow, and I haven't seen anything dealing with these specific two done before, and I think it's a good idea. However, I think that I will have to wait until at least late August so I can hop onto Pisoga and refresh myself on Sniper's character. (I'll work on getting the YYH DVDs ... eventually, finances pending.) I likes ze hi-speed--go school!

My parents are abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous.
So I have two friends that I have to buy birthday presents for. I'm at my dads this week so my dad SHOULD pay for it (as I don't have an income). That's how its supposed to be and how its always been. But now, on top of saying that my mom has to buy EVERYTHING that I need for college, no exceptions, he also says she has to pay for this. My mom does not make nearly as much money as my dad. And this isn't the first time this has happened. Now my mom won't let me spend 19 bucks to get one of my best friends a birthday present and my dad is being an asshole and saying he won't spend any money on me at all.
This would be so much better if this was the FIRST time this happened.
What the fuck.
