Yuri Challenge 2007

I'd like to announce the start of a yuri_challenge drabble challenge. The idea is to raise the profile and activity of this community. Every monday from now until the start of the next round I will do my best to post a prompt.

Though this is called a drabble challenge, fic of any length is welcome. If one of the prompts inspires you to write 50,000 words that's fine, we'll still love you. Any pairing and fandom is welcome as long as the main focus pairing of any fic you post is female/female. Posting guidelines are as on the community info page and I will ask you to please post all fanfiction or fanart you produce within the community rather then linking to it.

Thank you for your time and I hope this produces some good fic while we work so set up the second round for this year!

Drabble prompt one - Ideas

Now, a short question. Before that last wave, I posted weekly drabble prompts to keep the interest up. Would people be interested in participating if I did that again in the inter-challenge period. Hopefully, by doing that we can increase interest and get more great stuff in the next round.

Finally, I'd just like to remind you all that posting guidelines can be found on the information/profile page of this community. We've had a few problems this round with people posting in a way that's contradictory to the guidelines. I'll make sure to state them more clearly next round but please be aware of them.

Notes: This is quite different from what I normally write, and a bit odd. However, there is something about it I really like. I don't know what else to say. It took me many goes to get it set out right, and even now I'd like to rework the final part a little. However, it is done and I like it ^_^

Author's Note: First of all, I don't use the fandom names for the BC Turks, so don't be confused on that. Not that they have more than just a mention. Secondly, trying to bridge canons is kinda hard. o.o
