12:25 pm - some fic offerings! yes, well, my tenshi_no_korin journal is not in active use anymore because my fandom involvement is really low these days. But back in the day my partner llamajoy and I used to do tons of RW yaoi. I don't read most of it anymore, because the stories are going on ten years old and are kind of painful to go back to, though I'll always have a soft spot for them. It's sort of like dropping your Wii remote to fire up an awesome game of Qbert on your Atari 2600, if you get the idea. Our website is bishonenink. We're planning a revamp for the site to put some of the older fics further down, because we do on occasion put out new fic for the series, and it's kind of humiliating to put it up with the really old stuff. ^_^; I have a YST/RW fic in the works for this year's Christmas Advent Calendar (which is what got me here), and Joy and I both did fics for last year's calendar: Seasons of Grace from joy and The Coming of the Frost from me. Joy's is Sage & Rowen, mine is Cale (Anubisu) & Dais (Rajura). Thought they might be fun to toss out for the holiday season in case anyone missed them. Our online involvement is pretty much limited to our website these days, so lots of people think we've just dropped off the face of the planet, but we're still around! Joy and I are not on LJ much because we have computery jobs and original writing projects and we usually just come home and crash, but if anything else comes along in the Ronin theme I'll try to post it here for sharing. 10:55 pm - Naaza=Sexy I am a proud rabid Naaza fangirl. I am also new to this community. So, hi. :-P. Why do I love Naaza so much? I think it's because without a doubt he seems like the YST character most likely to enjoy all kinds of kink. Therefore it is fun to write fics starring him, though I am relatively new to the fanfic game. Actually, I recently decided that I need to come up with some super naughty Naaza fics because they seem really hard to find. So far I have a chapter of my first attempt nearly complete. However, this first chapter doesn't really qualify as yaoi, at least not the main pairing I have going SO FAR...but it is manifestly obvious that my Naaza sometimes prefers a nut while other times he does not. :-P (READ: this means this story is going to contain insane amounts of yaoi in the later chapters. In fact I fully intend on pairing Naaza with just about the entire cast of YST eventually. Cos Naaza totally needs to get some. He is so underappreciated.) Anyways, if anyone in this community has some or can point me to some good Naaza fics (the dirtier the better) many thanks. When I finish this chapter, I'll post it...as long as no one flames me for posting a het chapter in a yaoi community.

02:29 pm - Fic Search I hope someone can help me find this fic. I read it years ago, but recently got pulled back into YST fandom, and now I want to find the story again. I remember that it seemed to start at a wedding reception or some other kind of party, and I vaguely remember there were some very snobby girls who insulted Mia, and one of the snobby girls was with Sage as his date. After leaving the reception, everyone went to a hotel room and they ended up playing Truth or Dare. I know that's pretty vague, but if anyone remembers the story, please tell me the name/author. 07:29 pm - Newbie Hello! I just found this community yesterday and decided to say something and to share my website. http://www.yaoiluvr.net/ I've been around for nearly 9 years. And during those years I've always had a RW/YST shrine of one name or another. Ella Marie's RW/YST Doujinshi Shrine (1st), Yaoi Extreme and now YaoiLuvR's. Although I have interests in other anime's and original work, SeijixTouma rocks my boat, always has and always will.

04:59 pm - Hello Hello. I just joined this community. I decided to stop being lazy and make a livejournal account. Now that I have one I wanted to find communities to be a part of. I found this one and was wondering if someone felt like helping me out. I like to read fanfiction. I've read 1000's of stories but I don't know where all of them come from. I started making a list of all the authors and stories I like so it would be easier for me to find them again. I read a story that was a crossover of Ronin Warriors(Samurai troopers)and Weiss Kruez but can't seem to find it now. Does anyone know what it is called or the author? 03:19 pm Ok. This has been confusing me for a while now. Why are there not more Shuu/Shin or Shuu/Touma, for that matter? Shuu/Shin is one of the most accepted pairings out there, I think. In alot of the fics you read people'll say they're together but focus on another pairing. This makes baby Jesus cry. I mean... they're so cute! Kento's all big and burly yet with a heart of gold, and Shin's motherly and purty yet with a bit of a bratty side (at least I see a bratty side) and they just... balance! And with Shuu/Touma, I read somewhere that they're supposed to be childhood friends. Their personalities also go well together. Shuu's pretty calm and frank about things, and would seems like he'd be an absolute blast for overeactive Touma. Touma'd be able to be in a relationship where he wouldn't have to worry about having to be intellectually stimulating, which I can imagine he has to be with his smart parents, and the two just seem... fun. Thus, I am challenging y'all. I know this is a first post for me, so it's probably kinda an upstart thing for me to do, but... I challenge the writers of this community, no matter if you think yourself bad or good, to at least attempt one of these two pairings. Drabble, standalone, ficlet, I don't care. Just write something, and try expanding your mind to include a pairing not normally done. Time frame's three weeks. Bwahaha. *raises challenge flag*

03:40 pm - RW/YST swag at A-kon 16 A RW/YST report... xanthos_samurai and I just got back from Project A-kon 16 in Dallas, Texas. Now Xan and I have been hunting for RW/YST merchandise for about 6 or 7 years at anime conventions and we'd never seen so much stuff than what we found at A-kon 16. I found this one booth and there were (I kid you not) about 20 artbooks. Some of these artbooks had images we'd never even seen online! It was amazing. ^^ I managed to snag two of my favorites. How could I resist the sight of Ryo in a wedding dress and stickers? (XD;;) But Xan managed to get the rare artbook + VHS box set that we never even knew existed before. That was the haul of the weekend, I believe. So when we got home, we pooled all our stuff together and took a picture. 05:21 pm - Ordinary World Hello everyone, I just joined this community not too far back and have a RW yaoi story to share with you. (Granted its not YST)...its a Sage x Rowen. Too many times the days were rained out. All the warmth of the day sucked out by droplets of water cascading down upon Sendai relentlessly. Sage wished he could say he hated the rain but the weather reflected his mood as of late. Life had become predictable, inexorably boring but that was the way the Dojo worked, much like a well-oiled piece of machinery. There wasn’t a single item out of place or in disrepair and the room spoke of unspoiled cleanliness that had always been habit. It would seem inappropriate for him to think so but the sparkling room managed to grate on his nerves for it feel under the category of staleness that had become so unappealing. He kept the room dark with only a single candle at the edge of the windowsill; it’s small reflection flickering timidly in the shadows. The wind angrily howled at the walls urging the cherry blossom trees to knock insistently at the windows reminding Sage that the summer had passed him by and that winter was only a moment’s notice away. Sage hated the winter, almost as much as he hated chaos and disorder. The cold crawled under your skin to the very bone and made you long for hazy summer afternoons long forgotten. Nature died and retreated underground in anticipation of spring’s first light, as the rivers and streams froze somehow forgotten in time, and that’s how Sage felt when whispers of last December’s misgivings echoed in his memory. Winter was well suited for Rowen though, like stars cold and crisp hanging overhead like tea lamps hung in earnest of celebration. Shades of blue, it might as well been shades of white, because that was how Sage viewed the whole mess of it. He could no longer make the distinction between frost and the archer. It hadn’t started out that way and he knew more than anything it was his own fault. He could stomach the blame, he could live with the guilt, but winter made him feel empty, like a shell of his former self and he knew it had nothing to do with the guilt and everything to do with Rowen. Came in from a rainy Thursday On the avenue Thought I heard you talking softly I turned on the lights, the TV And the radio Still I can't escape the ghost of you It had happened last Winter, accordingly. Some how in the mixed up world the two had become best of friends and worse, the best of lovers. The time seemed to slip by unnoticed and in a tangle of webs Sage had been trapped. He hadn’t meant to find love in Rowen, but the bond between them had proved to be too strong to deny and like a drug he succumbed to those teasing azure eyes and creamy milk-white skin that warmed to his touch. It wasn’t love. It never was love, lust was the more appropriate word. At least he had thought so at the time. (read on) Current Mood: content
