AboutCommunity Rules:
I. Member Conduct and Content of Entries
1. All members are required to abide by LiveJournal's ToS, particularly article XVI.
2. I don't particularly care if you rant, flame, or bash here. Just be aware that if you start shit, you'll likely get the same in return if your flames are against another member. Bascially, be responsible for your own actions, and don't come whining to me if someone flames you back for flaming them in the first place. If things get too out of hand, I won't hesitate to delete an entry in which a flame war is raging.
3. You may use profane language here to whatever extent you wish. While doing so, though, do try to keep your language and use of obscenities in somewhat good taste, as just screaming curse after curse can be annoying and repetitive. But, in the words of Rhett Butler: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
4. Very little is considered "Off Topic" here. Your entries can relate entirely to YSRMB goings-on, or not at all. You can talk about whatever you want.
5. If your entry is exceedingly long, please have the good sense to post at least part of it under an LJ cut.
6. In regard to posting quiz results here: If it is only one quiz result, you do not need to LJ cut it. However, if there are more, you must put them under a cut.
7. If you are posting artwork, fanfiction, icons, or any creative work that is not your own, do not claim it as your own. If possible, always credit your source.
8. If you do any of the following, you may very well find yourself to have been removed from the community without warning: flooding, posting a link to a virus, hacking, threatening with physical harm.
II. Images and Links
1. If you're posting an image and it either (a) stretches the page or (b) is rated higher than PG-13, aka not work-safe, you must post it under an LJ cut. For information on how to use LJ-specific coding, go here.
2. Generally, if you are posting an image, it ought to be saved on your own webspace (ex: PhotoBucket). However, if you are posting an image from another site for reasons such as you think we may find it amusing/interesting, you may post the actual image if it is small enough. Otherwise, either link to it or post it under an LJ cut.
3. If you are posting a link to something that involves Flash, Java or the like, include a warning, since the browsers of others may be working on a slower connection and may not be able to handle it.
4. If you are linking to a music file (ex: mp3, midi, wav), make sure the link is not broken.
III. Spam
Very little is considered spam here. It is fairly easy to avoid spamming on ths community.
1. Do not type in "n00b speak." (Example: "omg lyk u suk!!1!") It is stupid, juvenile, and annoying.
2. Generally, do not post one-sentence, cryptic messages. (Example: "Oh my god...") If there is something wrong, something that pisses you off or upsets you, let us know. It is unfair to make us worry without telling us what is wrong. Therefore, these types of messages are discouraged.
3. If you want to advertise something, such as your own LJ or your website, you may do so---but only do so once. Posting it multiple times will be considered spamming.
IV. Punishments
If you break rules...
once, you will receive a warning.
twice, your posting access will be removed for three days.
thrice, you will be removed from the community.
