Description / Background details: Located in Millennium Park at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Washington Street, the 16,000 square-foot Ice Skating Rink offers visitors one of the best views of Chicago’s famed Michigan Avenue. Operating from the months of November to March (weather permitting), the rink offers skate rental, a warming lobby and public lockers.

BULLETIN SECTION:
Skating on the rink is free, and skate rental is available for $9. A warming lobby, toilets and public lockers are also available. The rink opens daily at 10am until 10pm. The zamboni will operate daily at 11:30am,1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, and 7:45pm.

Description / Background details: It is a 3 screen theater located downtown, you walk in and there is a ticket stand, concessions stand, and hallway leading to the different screens. The walls are decorated with spaceships and outer space type things. Tickets are $3 for a child and $5 for an adult. The theater plays mostly older movies.

- Description / Background details: Based in downtown Chicago, Nexus has everything you could want on a night out - Two bars, a chill-out area showing the latest music videos from MTV and Kiss and a late night "eatery" serving all the basic snacks you need to keep you going all night.

Nexus is also a rock club with a stage in back where anyone from local bands to big name artists are booked to perform. Monthly schedules are posted in the window up front for any passer-by's to look and see who playing. Thursday is always "Club choice" with 2 resident DJ's playing a wide range of music from "Party" and "Cheese" to "RnB" and "Dance", plus all your requests.
