| About: | This community is devoted to the pairing of the adorable Asakura Yoh and the austere Kyouyama Anna of the anime/manga series Shaman King I don't know whether or not anyone will actually join this community, as I can't exactly advertise or anything, but since I couldn't find any, I made this Yoh/Anna community. This is intended to be a haven for those craving to rant, ramble, drabble, etc on/about/related to Yoh and Anna of Shaman King. So, that means, if you are utterly devoted to Hao/Yoh, Hao/Anna, Yoh/Tamao, Yoh/Ren or whatever couple that included Yoh and/or Anna that does not include them together, though I completely respect that, this isn't the place for you. You wouldn't like it anyway, so it's a waste of time flaming anyone going "I hate Yoh/Anna! You suck!" Just common sense, ne? But I trust everyone's nice enough, right? This is just in case anyone does join, though maybe you won't after hearing this... ^^;; There's a couple rules though. Very simple. Nothing to hinder you if you like Yoh/Anna, right?: 1. Absolutely no netspeak! I hate netspeak. I won't stand for it. Use proper grammar. Or at the very least try, that's all I ever ask of people. Simple, general things like lol, brb, btw, b/c, w/, w/o etc are accepted, but keep to a minimum. 2. DON'T TALK IN CAP LOCKS. See? It's as if I'm shouting. I can almost hear you shouting. Don't do it. Try not too. Unless there's some big, big news that concerns Yoh/Anna that everyone must know, and must know now, don't use it. A simple ! will do fine. 3. Regarding fics/snippets/ficlets/drabbles/etc: They should be under a cut, or in a link. Perferable with a template like this: Title: Author: Rating: Summary: (if a longer than ficlet) Link/LJ-cut: If that's not possible, fine, but do warn if it's R or higher, 'cause there are younger audiences on the 'net. Oh and of course, we want to keep quality work, right? So even if you can't keep them totally in character, you're no good at imagery, or whatever not, try to, at the very least, use correct grammar. Try. Put a little effort into whatever your writing. Though I'm not asking you to write a thesis paper on anything, you're putting it out for people to read. If you can't read stand it, neither will anyone else. If your friends can't read it, neither will anyone else. Blunt, I know, but it's true. But trying isn't asking much, is it? I know my drabbles and things aren't the best, but I try. 4. Regarding fanart/wallpapers/avatars/etc: Again, it'd be nice if you had a template (just like the above, with "Artist" instead of author), but not nessary. Again, warn first! And keep it under the cut. Teasers are fine, but no more than three if it's really big. One to three, you can keep it out of the cut. 5. Keep it clean, 'kay? It's about love... flaming, bashing, etc is not allowed, even if it's of another pairing. It's not nice. That's not what this is about. Constructive critism is allowed. In fact, it's encouraged. Anaylsis of why other ships (er... pairing) that involve the couple don't hold up a candle to Yoh/Anna is allowed, but one should not toe the line to bashing. And that's all. Five rules. Not hard, right? There's obvious I shouldn't have to say too, but if it turns out I need to, I will. I'm not a mean person. If someone breaks a rule, I'll warn them. Unless someone repeatedly and purposely decides to disgard them, that's when I'll take action. Oh and let's not take ourselves too seriously, ne? This is only entertainment afterall. | |
