| [Someone has thoughtfully made cookies for everyone in the Dressing Room! If anyone wants to partake, just take as many as you want from the giant piles and plates that are now in the lobby, right next to the little Nativity scene someone had also thoughtfully put up near the fountain.
Go on, try them! They're delicious...]((OOC: ...And they will grant you wishes for a few days, just like last year's! Only...this is Roxane we're talking about. So those wishes and desires your characters might have upon eating these confections? They juuust might not come true in a fashion that is to their liking. In fact, chances are that many wishes will be granted in ways that will make the recipients not ever want to wish for whatever it was they were thinking about EVER AGAIN.
You have been warned. Merry Christmas! :D))
|
| Okay, I've been like this for months. Is there anyone in this cursed place that can change me back?
I don't want to get fleas again.
|
| [[The door to the dressing room opens and another Bakura walks in, looking a bit distractedly at the keys in his hand that he's shifting to get to the next key he'll need to get to his apartment. He's dressed for winter weather and has a plastic bag containing yet another D&D type board game in the hand that doesn't have his keys. He pauses after a few steps, looking up and blinking at his surroundings]]
... did I get the wrong building? [[wonders aloud, turning to look behind him. Opening the door to the outside, only deepens his confusion, as there's nothing familiar out there either.
He stands there a long moment, utterly confused before looking back into the lobby of the Dressing Room again.
Something was rather wrong here...]]
|
| [Have a Zombie Boy Ghost Kotsuzuka. After a minute or two of glancing around and glaring at his surroundings...]
No. No. You do not get to just bring me in whenever you fucking feel like it.
I've had it, I'm through with this shit.
I quit. | |
|
| [A Jaden/Judai/Jubel/Dark Knight/Something or other was wandering the halls. A large red coat trailed behind him, a sleek red hat with a large feather sat upon his head, and his neck was covered with enough gold to break a normal man's spine. Still, he was in frightfully good spirits.]
Yo, what up, niggaz?!
J-dawg's back, y'all! | |
|
| [Pegasus J. Crawford walks through the halls swiftly, not looking like he actually has a destination in mind. The Eye is gone, an empty socket where it once was. Once in a while he reaches up to claw at some of the crusted blood around the socket.
He is dressed in his finest suit and smells oddly of embalming fluid.]
|
| [So, somebody has finally peeled himself off the sofa. He's still pretty drowsy and in some kind of discomfort, and judging by the even raggier than normal angle his hair is on he looks it too. However, lying down with Floret running around like a headless chicken for weeks on end doesn't sit too well with him and he wants to get out of the room, even if it isn't long before somebody ushers him back. He's starting to get the hang of the crutches too, now that he's not in so much pain.
He's currently being distracted by a window and shivering slightly despite wearing his cloak - why is it so cold and what the hell happened to outside?
It seems somebody can't remember what snow is.]
|
| [Crow and Yuusei are walking down the hall en route to Kiryu's room. They plan to talk to him about a plan they could use to help Aki and Jack. They have no idea that Aki's actually managed to free herself, though...] | |
|
| "You're related to 'her'?!"
That line is heard from an open door, a very quiet, modest looking door that just appears then disappears. If you know him, it's a voice of Bakura, not Thief King Bakura, rather just Ryou. Which brings to point the person who is now sitting down with a spellbook in one hand, the Dark Magician staff in the other. That person? Is Mahaado. If you're friends with Yugi then you know it's Dark Magician, he radiates that kind of power. But he's dressed back like he did in Ancient Egypt and is currently reading. Though he looks rather resigned to some fate or another...
Feel free to bother.
((OOC: trying this one more time. This Mahaado follows a blend of manga and Anime canon. Manga timeline, Anime events in canon. His point of AU is actually a year AFTER the series.))

| [Something is forming in the center of the Dressing Room lobby within a ball of dark energy. As it slowly takes form, memories awaken within it. It knows these cannot truly belong to it, but all the same, it claims them as its own. It is Mutou Yuugi. The Nameless Pharaoh will pay for usurping its life, winning duels in its name, and leaving it with nothing.] | |
|
| [Guess who has his first cold? That's right. Dawn is currently shut up in his room, sneezing and coughing and feeling absolutely miserable thanks to his day in the snow.
Someone should bring him some chicken noodle soup and some Nyquil.]
|
| [Good morning, Dressing Room! The sun is shining, the snow is sparkling, and of course it's not the Dressing Room without something insane happening somewhere in the building. Today is no exception, if anyone is on the 15th floor.
Because it is in a complete panic. NPCs are running everywhere, screaming for dear life as they are chased by...of all things...duel cards. Then again, the duel cards are glowing and floating and depending on which cards they are, they are actually attacking people with their special attacks, blowing things up and general just causing as much damage as possible, before floating down after a certain distance. The closer to the afterlife the stronger the cards are, as if the person controlling the cards is there...
Because she is. Aki has returned to life, cards swirling around her as she glows with an angry psychic aura as she uses the cards to attack and blow up palm trees, huts, whatever she can see. Those who know her will realize her powers have significantly increased, whether or not they see the floating duel cards.
He's gone. He's gone he's gone he's gone. There was no point anymore, was there? Somehow, she'd returned, but he hadn't. He was nowhere to be found.
Divine was the only person who had cared for her, and stayed with her. Now he was dead. And now that he was dead, there was nothing on the earth worth sparing from her wrath. It was because of people like Yilaster, people like the Director, like that woman - they hated and feared her and her kind because they were different, because they had gifts. Then, after they killed him, they manipulated her for their own gains, used her powers for their own needs, so they wouldn't have to worry about her being a threat to them. Divine was different he'd always been different...he'd known all along they were evil...that's why they killed him...
Let them hate. Let them fear her. They would all pay for taking away the person she treasured most and making her their slave. In the name of the Black Rose Witch, the Arcadia Movement, for Divine, they would all PAY!
If there is anyone in the afterlife, it might be an idea to leave - or try any convince her to calm down before she decides to do further damage to the rest of the building...]

[This is Bakura. He's not very impressed right now. Why, you might ask? It's because, rather than sitting on the soft cushions of a throne-like chair conjured in the back of the ring's subconscious, he's standing here. He also feels distinctly detached from Ryou, something he hasn't felt in a long time. It's like the other's spirit is no longer dwelling alongside his in their body. His eye twitches, a hand brought up to his face and stared at before it is flexed. It was... Solid. He was in his own body?
No, this is still the body of Bakura Ryou. His skin is far too pale for this to be his old body, the form far to lithe and fragile. This angers him a bit, but it doesn't show beyond a frown on the man's face.
Care to bother him and tell him what has happened, DR?]
[[OoC: Hi, YGODR. I'm new here so please tell me if I'm supposed to post here right away, do an intro in OOC first or what... I've played in a dressing room before but it doesn't stop me from being nervous entering here, you know? Hope to have fun with you all?]]

| [In his arms he holds two bags, full of groceries. He walks at a steady pace. Fulfilling the master Leiko-sama's order was the only thought in his mind. Return with groceries. Return with groceries.] | |
|
| [There is a GIANT FUCKING PILE OF PAPERS that has suddenly appeared in the Dressing Room. And...IT IS MOVING. SLOWLY. TACKING PIECES OF ITSELF ONTO THE WALL.
And it looks ready to TOPPLE. WHAT DO YOU DO??]
|
| [And he is in the library, reading. As to what, well...There's always the option of asking him.] | |

| Is it possible to be confused about not being able to be confused because I think I thought I was going through that but I'm not sure I thought what I was thinking was right.
I think.

| [Yuugi is busily studying away in the cafeteria of his University, only to look up to check what time it is after his laptop crashes for the third time in a row (he swears it's got to be the latest update for Ventana XP) and realize he's not in his cafeteria anymore. This startles him enough to knock him backwards out of his chair, sending his scrawny limbs scrambling for help as his back hits the floor. He lies there for a moment. He's no longer in the cafeteria. He must have fallen asleep while studying and then been kidnapped or... or something. On the table, his laptop is booting when it hits yet another blue screen and crashes.] | |

| [In the comfort of his room, Apollo rests in bed. It has been a weary and trying day for him. Nearly dying did that to a man. His dreams, however, are no less as fitful as his waking life. In his dream, he is falling through the sky, unable to slow his descent and imminent demise. All around him, the very air is shattering like glass, cutting into him. It hurts. Everything hurts.
Suddenly, he is whirled around and thrown from the back of an armored horse, which bears down on him and slams its hooves into his legs. He cries out, but then the horse is gone, replaced by a glowing kind of phantom, which reaches slowly for him, giving him enough time to attempt crab-crawling backwards, but his feet catch on his long coat-cape and he falls, the phantom bearing down upon him...
Then he wakes up, sitting up in his bed and crying out in fear. He rubs his shoulders, realizing the pain in his body is still very much real. A part of his mind immediately reaches out for a warm, white quiet that simply isn't there. A feeling like that could never be felt again... ever.
Unless... No. Never again.
He looked about his room, wondering if anyone had come in to see his little panic attack.]
|
| [Most likely because of the way he reacts.
He's relieved (or is trying to feel relieved, anyway) that he's turned back from that...whatever that lion-thing was. Being able to control electricity was something, but considering his brother did his best to not let him attack, it got boring pretty quickly. Walking on two feet and talking again was definitely the better option.
However, his brother keeping him from fighting had a consequence-that energy was stored away in him. Now that he's turned back, he can't exactly control or wield electricity any more-but that doesn't stop him from suffering a truly extreme case of static cling.
It's almost like he's been turned into a magnet for woolen socks and mufflers. When he passes one, they latch on. And yes, that means his clothing feels rather uncomfortable at the moment (Yuusei's trying rather hard not to squirm as he feels the pinpricks his brother can't).
Anyone want to bother/torment him? Bonus points for wearing clothes that stick or having a spare set around.]
|
| [Have another Yuusei. Just like any normal Yuusei. Cept she's a girl. She's confused as to where she is, but she isn't showing it. This certainly didn't look like Satellite. The only place that had hotels this nice looking was Neo Domino. So said the rumours, at least.
For a moment, she thought she had been kidnapped in her sleep, but she knew that wasn't possible, either. So what the hell was up? She should find an employee or something.]

| Only slightly late this time. Man, I remember when we used to be on the edge of our seats waiting for HMD, lul.
You guys know the drill by now. List whatever characters have been doing stuff. Con crit is good, flaming is bad. Yada yada yada. Feel free to plot away with people, as well. We're going to be doing another round of advertising here, soon.
This officially signals the end of the pokemans plot. Which was a lot of fun. We had some great activity during that time.
Our next plot is: Emotions. We'll probably drag this one out until next HMD as well.
To explain the plot, your character loses the ability to feel one emotion for the duration of this plot. It could be rage, sadness, arousal, loneliness, angst, martyrdom... anything. But only one.
Have fun, guys! See you in two weeks.
Also, if you guys have any alternate advertising ideas? Feel free to post them here. !m

| [This little Yuugi seems to have lost something extremely important. He's looking through various rooms frantically, tears streaming down his face. How could he have lost it? How?] | |
