This community consists of a mix of fans who have watched the original Japanese and the English
dub. To help prevent confusion, here are Master Lists to show where the important differences lie.
Tags Master Page: Because some of the English and Japanese names differ, here is an easy look-up list
so you can properly tag your posts.
Terms Master Page: Because some of the English and Japanese terms differ, here is an easy look-up list
so you know what the heck people are talking about.
Episodes: Fansub Master Page: Here you can find where to watch/download the series in fansub and
learn the names/terms firsthand. :)
Episodes: Raw Master Page: Watch the series in its purest form as seen in Japan! Or grab the footage to
make AMVs and the like. XD
Episodes: English Dub Master Page: Here you can find where to watch/download the 4Kids version of
the series.
Mild Warning: The Studio Gallop and 4Kids versions of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's differ greatly.
Fanart Directory: A list put together by fellow members of their favorite sites to get 5D's fanart!
Rules
There are just a few ground rules for posting in the community.
1. Stay on-topic. That's anything to do with Yugi-Oh 5D's. Introductions and Crossovers are fine. You
may advertise your communities as long as they're Yugi-Oh ones.
2. Use lj-cut. Fanfiction, art, large posts, and long rants/essays need to be put behind lj-cut to keep
download time down. Go here if you don't know how to do that.
3. Tag posts. Please tag (both subject line and tag links) your posts appropriately to make it easy for fans
to find what they're looking for.
Subject lines: [FIC], [PIC], [VID], etc.
Tag links: couples, character names, etc.
Tag links will be updated regularly. If there's one you need, ask and you shall receive.
4. Clearly mark anything that is not worksafe. Fanfiction, fanart, AMVs, and videos must contain a rating.
It doesn't matter how you do it as long as it's clear what age group it is or is not for.
5. Friend/Group-lock anything that is rated R, NC-17 or Mature. That means select the option to make
the entry members only if the link to the page is not already Friend-locked. It's to the left of the post button.
This is to help protect the group.
6. Play nice. That means no flames. Actual critiquing is fine, but flaming will get you warned then banned if
the behavior continues.
Rules will be modified as necessary.
