[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's]
5D's world takes place many years after GX. Our story takes place in two islands that coexist with one another; Neo Domino City and Satellite City, The latter of which, our protagonist, Yuusei Fudo resides in. In this era, dueling has developed into exhilarating riding duels with hybrid motorcycles known as D-Wheels.
The story revolves around Yuusei Fudo trying to escape from Security and Satellite in order to reclaim the bonds between a former friend and his stolen ace card. His bonds with Jack Atlas, the current Duel King of Neo Domino city goes back to Jack's days being a "satellite scum".
However, as the story progresses, Yuusei's existance, as known to Rex Godwin, is that of a Signer, and because of this, Yuusei is dragged into the Fortune Cup Dueling Competition (via blackmail), organized by Godwin himself.
Godwin craftly strings along the events of the Fortune Cup in order to assemble the 5 Signers and summon the Crimson Dragon...but for what purpose, we've yet to discover.
