Yaoi-Con 2008 will be held Friday through Sunday, September 26-28, 2008 at the Marriott San Mateo-San Francisco Airport in San Mateo, California!

You can sign up there for our announcement emails (which we highly recommend, since we will be retiring the Yaoi-Con Announce Yahoo Group some time this year), and there's also a forum for you to talk with other Yaoi-Con-goers and get excited about the big weekend in September!

Not asking to change the date of the convention or anything like that...but I'm merely curious as to why the con is on Sept 26-28?
Excluding 2001, all the other cons were held in October, on or before my birthday (Oct 17). Gah, I was psyched to go this year too. @_@
I apologize...really, just curious. >_

The dates we pick are always in consideration of guest availability plus hotel availability, etc. Plus we try to keep the dates after universities have started, but before the holidays start kicking in.

I tried with Firefox and Safari but http://www.yaoicon.com/2006reviews.html won't show up for me nor any of the other reviews for previous years. I get a "404: file not found" message.

Please be aware that Ilyat's Gallery & Suspi's Gallery would not open for me, although the other two did. I got the message:

Not Found

The requested URL /photos/yaoicon06/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Believe me, I do understand that about code and please accept my re-stating of appreciation for the tons of work you do. The page beautifully pimps the con and I super appreciate extras like the memories.

Allow me to politely ask if I'm understanding this correctly:

Under the 2007 link it says..
Here are some of the Yaoi-Con 2006 reviews and galleries that have been posted by attendees.

Shouldn't it be 2007? My photos are from the 2007 year but I do hope to add older ones. I'll inform you when I do, in case you'd like to link those to the previous years as well.
