There are many reasons to go to LA. You know, swimming pools, movie stars. Well now we're giving you one more! Yaoi-Con is heading once again to the biggest anime convention in the country, Anime Expo! And let's face it, even the largest anime convention just wouldn't be complete without some steamy boy-on-boy action. So be sure to stop by our booths -- 1125, 1127, 1129 -- and register for Yaoi-Con, buy some yaoi swag, or just plain say "Hi!" We'll be there all four days, so don't be a stranger!
Anime Expo will be held July 2-5, 2009 at the LA Convention Center.

Yaoi-Con regrets to announce that this year's Guest of Honor Nitta Youka will not be able to attend the convention. We wish her well and hope that she will be able to attend a future Yaoi-Con.
We are in the process of researching alternate guests; new information will be posted as it becomes available.

Just a quick update with regard to the Fan Market: Fan Market vendors WILL be required to obtain a California Seller's Permit this year. The Fan Market Application has been updated with a link and information on obtaining the permit. If you plan to purchase a table in the Fan Market, please download the updated Application here:

If you already sent your Application in, please use the link provided in the updated Application to apply for a permit and send us the permit number when you get it. We will be contacting all Fan Market vendors for this information prior to the convention.
