¡Yuju! , ¡convención! Momento para ponerse friki y vaciar los bolsillos.  ^o^

Hoy fui a La mole no. 25, una convención que se realiza periódicamente aquí en el D.F.

Estuvo bien, aunque tengo la impresión de que en la TNT hay más variedad de cosas, tanto de productos como de eventos. Yo iba con la intención de comprarme una figura de Lulu-Zero, y nada.  En sí no tenían nada de Code Geass, mas que algunos colgantes con los símbolos de los Black knights, del Geass y la llave de Lancelot.  Los reyes de la convención siguen siendo Naruto, Death Note y Tsubasa. =P Hay harto merchandising de ellos.



En la conven me quedé de ver con Kyz, Azu y su peor es nada, quien andaba de drag. XD  Entre foto y foto que les tomaban, platicamos un rato.

Por primera vez me puse a ver los trabajos de los dibujantes que ponen sus mesas para mostrar sus comics. Ahí la llevan pero todavía no me convencen. Me pregunto por qué no hacen doujinshis, así practicarían, ganarían algo de dinero y se darían a conocer. Porque, aunque sus comics no están caros, como 25 pesos en promedio, no se me antoja comprarlos porque no conozco la historia y a simple hojeada el dibujo no me atrae mucho que digamos.

En la tarde fui a la conferencia que dieron los actores de doblaje de Dragon Ball, estuvo bien, pero a veces no se oía claramente lo que decían, medio les falló el sonido.

Como siempre, no faltaron los cosplayers. Algunos muy buenos, otros x.  También había personas vestidas de manera extraña, como medio darketas, a las que parece que nada más se les antojó irse así aprovechando que nadie los mira raros y hasta fotos les piden. =P

Let's see, so... the past Tuesday at work, I was assigned by Guna, the Associate Dean for Research of the Engineering building, to help him with a large field research project he's working on. Since it's outside of the office, he will pay for my extra hours. We became acquaintance when I helped making several flyers for him last semester, and since the Associate Dean and I got along well. The past weeks, I told him that my boss hasn't assigned me any projects yet, and so he decided to change that.

...Hence the research project. Basically, my part is to retrieve articles from local newspapers (5 different subscribers) about the Bay Area 1989 earthquake - Loma Prieta - looking through 10 days span of newspaper after the quake, specifically articles on damages of schools, private, and community colleges.

Uh, yeah. Past days, 1researching. Grr, why does this project have to be assigned to me now when it's over half way into July? Not to mention it sounds urgent. But when he says things like, "I don't work with people I don't trust," and smiling, how can I half-ass the research =[]=!? This is more research than my whole 2nd year semesters combined.

Gah, neck and back hurts.

I just got the Haruka3 DVD Limited Edition package and planned to upload all the goodies.

Porque todo lo que empieza, debe terminar y así lo mismo pasó con estas interminables semanas de exámenes que finalmente ayer, dieron por concluídas.

Y en general, quedé conforme con los resultados... el esfuerzo invertido en los distintos ramos se notó y pues este semestre en general fue muy provechoso. He aprendido cosas que nunca creí que sabría alguna vez y lo he pasado bastante bien en las clases en su mayoría.


Eso por el momento. En la próxima entreda empiezo a subir los trabajos.
