Summary: I always wondered what was going through Tsuzuki's head when he gave into Muraki so easily after losing the poker game during "King of Swords"... and what would have happened if Hisoka hadn't intervened. This is my attempt to answer that question.
Author's Note: Some of the dialogue at the beginning is lifted directly from the manga/anime, since the story starts out during the "King of Swords" arc on the ship.

Okay, I'm looking for a fic that used to be on ff.net. I thought I had once saved it as a favorite and searching for hours leaves me with no results.
I'm uncertain about the name, but I thought that somewhere in it "Glass" or "Mirror" was mentioned. Maybe not.
Anyways, the premise is that Tsuzuki and Hisoka are summoned on a mission that takes them to a hotel/house-turned-hotel or something similar. Watari and Tatsumi help them with the case as well. Oh, and for you Tsuzuki/Hisoka fangirls, they do eventually become a couple in this story. I can't remember anything about Tatsumi and Watari tho'.
I don't remember too much of the middle of the story, but I do know that they eventually figure out that there was something in the water that drove people into a frantic passion/rage - I believe Hisoka figures it out after drinking some tea and then seducing Tsuzuki and having a passionate night of sex (no lemons written in the story, just inferenced). I think the group find a secret passage behind a mirror after that, which leads them into a room where Muraki is (gee, surprise surprise). I believe there were others that helped him... I can't remember if he already revived Saki or not, but I do believe that Saki is revived in this story (whether before the group discovers his evil plan or due to the fact they fell into his trap). Everyone becomes immobilized at some point, Hisoka somehow kicks ass (by fighting, distracting Muraki, or amplifying Tsuzuki's powers... or maybe a combination of all three), ass-whoping follows, and then everything is set ablaze and the four are able to escape the burning building.
I know I came across this story over a year ago through someone's favorited stories list on ff.net. I believe the person favorited "House of Flies" and this story... I remember this because I had never read either story by this point and both were dark and really well-written and so I read both one after the other.
I'd appreciate any help! Even just a name or author. I'd most appreciate a copy of the story itself (if anyone happened to save it), but I'd be satisfied with at least a name for now.

hello,
I'm looking for a very old fic - so old that I don't even know if it exists anymore. The original writer posted it on the (now defunct) YnoM mailing list back in early 2000; and the story revolves around Muraki/Oriya. It's a multichapter fic (20? 23?) beginning with the time where Oriya and Muraki met in school, and Oriya was being bullied by his classmates. It continues on till they're older, and Oriya gives Muraki his garnet earrings in some remote snow cabin. I believe the title had the word 'sakura' in it, although that could possibly be my faulty memory.
Please help, thank you very much!

I'm looking for a YnM fic called "The House of Mirrors" by Helene a.k.a childofatlantis. I've already read her works "Fade to Black" as well as "Lies and Secrets" and I was just wondering whether HoM is already posted anywhere. I tried searching for "The Otherside of Twilight," where I believe all the author's YnM works are posted, but I can't seem to find it.
Can anyone help me regarding this?

And thank you as well to esche for checking over my translations for the chapter titles. Any remaining mistakes in the story or in my Japanese is entirely my own fault.
Author's Note: This is my very first story in this fandom, and I'm still getting a feel for the characters. Any feedback and/or constructive critique will be very much appreciated!
