About WELCOME TO HELL. WELCOME TO CHIODOS.... hi kids. in order to post, you simply have to join. and you can do that at the top of this page :] there aren't many rules as far as posting goes. but there are a few just to keep things going smooth. 1. PLEASE only post chiodos related things. this can include things such as craig's other band, cinematic sunrise, so long as it relates back to chiodos. 2. if you're posting pictures, videos, large graphics, etc PLEASE put them under an lj-cut, which you can learn to do here. 3. we don't want no drama. no no no no drama drama. yes that was lame. but you get the point? and if you can't follow those simple rules, you need to have rocks thrown at you. they're easy and hardly a hassle. CHIODOS IS: craigery owens, radley bell, matt goddard, pat mcmanaman, jason hale, derrick frost ABOUT CHIODOS: since their formation, CHIODOS have been focused on creating something different while letting their diverse influences shine through. their resulting debut full length is only definable as a melting pot of electronic beats behind piano, metal guitar riffs and poppy melodic vocal lines that leave you humming. deavy and harsh at one moment, beautiful and serene the next, seemingly as a rule staying away from 'verse-chorus-verse' song writing. their debut EP was a raw effort of oddly pieced musical ideas and bedroom recordings, however it did not go unnoticed. fans from their home state of michigan and beyond buzzed about the release, along with praise of the band's explosive live performances. leading to what would eventually become 7 full U.S. tours, thousands of CDs sold and countless enthusiastic fans. influenced by SAVES THE DAY, QUEEN, and AT THE DRIVE IN, CHIODOS create a sound both intense and versatile as they cross musical boundaries in every song.
